Cloudy Shadows: The Nature and Tranquility of Mount Rokko
Day 1
In the early morning light, I embarked on a journey to Mount Rokko. Slowly ascending by cable car, I overlooked the city and sea below, with the view gradually expanding as if entering another world. Upon reaching the summit, I first visited Rokko Mountain Farm, where the lush green grass and leisurely grazing cattle and sheep created a serene pastoral scene. I fed the lambs by hand, feeling their warm touch, and then tasted the farm's homemade fresh milk ice cream, with its rich dairy flavor lingering on my tongue. In the afternoon, I strolled through Rokko Mountain Garden, where the fragrance of flowers and plants wafted through the air, making every spot a perfect photo opportunity. As the sun set, I headed to the Rokko Mountain Observatory to await the nightfall. When the lights of Osaka and Kobe twinkled below, the entire view sparkled like jewels, leaving me breathless.
Day 2
The next morning, I chose to explore the nature trails of Mount Rokko. The fresh forest air and the constant chirping of birds, accompanied by the rhythm of my footsteps, seemed to create a natural symphony. Upon reaching the highest point of Mount Rokko, the scenery became even more magnificent, with Osaka Bay shimmering in the sunlight in the distance. Next, I visited the Rokko Mountain Music Box Museum, which houses many antique music boxes. Listening to their melodies brought a sense of relaxation and joy. At noon, I enjoyed a light meal at the museum's garden café, with the sunlight bathing me, making me feel one with nature. In the afternoon, I descended to the foot of the mountain and made a special stop at Kobe Harbor to admire the modern architecture and the seamless blend of sea and sky, concluding the trip perfectly.
The scenery of Mount Rokko is like a poetic painting, making one reluctant to leave. Here, I felt the tranquility of nature and the power of life, with every moment filled with healing and inspiration, as if my soul was elevated.
