I originally thought this was a very ordinary place, but it is definitely worth staying here for 1 to 2 hours to fully explore and experience it. There is a -15°C drift ice experience room in the museum, where we can touch real drift ice shipped from the Sea of ​​Okhotsk, but my hands were so cold that I couldn’t feel it, and it didn’t feel particularly cold to the touch. We also use a wet towel to shake it here. It will instantly freeze into an ice pop within 30 shakes. It's super fun. Here I also saw the drift ice angels and Pacific spiny lionfish that are unique to Hokkaido. They are both super cute and it really opened my eyes to see that there are such special creatures in the world. Go to the top of the building, there is a 360-degree observation deck called "Tiandu Mountain Observation Deck", where you can enjoy the endless snow scenery, which is really beautiful. Next, we will go to the sales department on the first floor. We must try the "drift ice cream" which is limited to the museum. It is salted caramel ice cream made with Okhotsk sea salt.
