Free parking also makes it convenient ( if you have a car ).This "rainbow field" is definitely our favourite one in the area. Then, prepare to take the bus from the zoo to Asahikawa Station (the bus stop is in front of the main entrance of the zoo). You can check the bus schedule on Google Maps, we chose a bus around 12:10. After arriving at Asahikawa Station, take the Furano Line to Biei Station, which takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Biei Station, use Google Maps to search for "クリスマスツリーの木" (I tried English search and it didn't work), and follow the navigation for about 20 minutes to arrive. The scenery along the way is very beautiful, just like what you see in pictures 2 to 5, you can take pictures while walking. It is recommended to arrive at the Christmas tree before 2:30 in the afternoon, because taking pictures may take a lot of time, and it gets dark very early, so you must ensure that there is enough time to return to Biei Station to catch the return train. The train intervals in this small rural area are relatively long, so you need to arrange your itinerary based on the train time on Google Maps (we chose a train around 4 o'clock to return to Asahikawa Station, and then return to Sapporo from Asahikawa). The good thing about this farm is there is no entrance fee and though it is not a very big farm, the place is very kids friendly and a great way for them to learn about the farm animals. You can purchase fresh milk or jersey milk ice cream at the farm too. We are happy to be at Farm Chiyoda and I m sure your kids will love it too!

Hokkaido milk is really famous, so even in the cold winter, you have to eat milk ice cream🥛 I thought all milk ice creams were delicious, but this was the most delicious ice cream I've ever had. Biei Station's best restaurant, Junpei, was closed, so I went there, but it ended up being the most delicious restaurant I've ever been to during my trip to Sapporo🌝 Yakiniku-don🥩 / Curry set🥘 / Sashimi set🐟 / Tempura set🍤 I ordered 4 items on the menu, and they were all neat and clean, and I didn't regret not going to Junpei at all because they were all Japchae. The only downside is that the owner couple only serves the food, so it takes a while for it to come out? In particular, the snowy scenery outside the window was really beautiful. Since the Shirasu Falls is right in front of the accommodation, I recommend visiting them together! Since it's a ryokan hotel, there's also an outdoor hot spring, so the best thing is that you can enjoy the hot spring while looking at the snowy scenery.
