So, last week of Summer Break, before school starts, we flew to an island in Vietnam, called the Phu Quoc Island. It’s pretty “new” not only to tourist but also for the Vietnamese in mainland Vietnam, and it’s definitely underrated. There are 2 ways ✈️ to Phu Quoc Island. Option 1 is direct flight operated by Viet Jet Air on certain days of the week, only one flight schedule in the evening (arriving ard 8pm) and returning in early morning. With direct flight, visa is not required for HK passport holders but you kinda lose the first and last day. We opted for the second choice, which is early morning flight with CX to Ho Chi Min then connecting at domestic with Vietnam Airline to Phu Quoc. This way, visa is required. BUT, we arrived by 3pm. Departing in the afternoon from Phu Quoc - Viet Airline to Ho Chi Min - CX to Hong Kong. We booked the beachfront villa of Movenpick Villa and Residence for this trip. And it is the best we’ve been so far. 3 bedrooms all with bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, dining area, private pool with sun chairs and cushions, just few steps away from the beach. Kids love the pool ! We spent hours at the pool, every day. Hotel’s breakfast has variety of food options and with good quality. In room dining charge at reasonable price and tasty. There’s free chocolate during the chocolate time (3-4pm daily) for everyone at the lobby lounge. There are plenty of facilities such as gym centre (5am to 10pm), kids club activities, spa and salon, hotel activities for adults but we were caught up with our private pool and beach at the villa. #Pool #Ho-kangs I'm going to introduce a swimming pool that was as satisfying as Chocolate Hour during this Whatvenpick Ho-kangs💕 First of all, I prefer a wide and long swimming pool, and this was just that! There weren't many people in the pool, but it was still wide enough that I didn't have to worry about splashing other people when I was swimming☺ Also, since the pool was long, there were a lot of beds, so I could come to the bed right after swimming and sit down. It wasn't deep, so it was perfect for playing. Oh, the water was a bit warm, and there was a jacuzzi, so I ended up resting in the jacuzzi area ㅋㅋ There's a separate seat in the middle of the pool like a boat on the water, so if you come with your family, you can eat fruit there or eat desserts from Chocolate Hour😍

I visited this newly opened resort on April 1st of this year, and it really felt like a new resort. ㅎㅎ Originally, only the Mövenpick Hotel was here, but the new one that opened after that is the Mövenpick Villas & Residences. The interior and room condition were neat and clean. The swimming pool is right in front, and if you take a buggy to the Mövenpick Hotel, the sea is right in front! The reason I go to the Whatbenpick Resort is because of the chocolate hour between 3:30 and 4:30!!!!🍫🍫🍫🍫 They provide guests with a buffet-style dessert of cakes, cookies, marshmallows, etc. for an hour😍 It's great for a quick bite before and after swimming!! Since it's a residence, there's an induction stove and sink inside, so you can cook something simple in the evening~! The price and amenities were perfect for a staycation!

The environment is elegant and comfortable. Unfortunately, there are too many flies. During breakfast, on the terrace, there are flies flying around in the air, which ruins the view and also pollutes the food. The location is quite remote. Although there is a bus to the highway entrance, it takes at least 15 minutes to walk from the highway to the hotel. It is quite a long way.

Very comfortable hotel with beautiful sea view. The hotel is located near the sea with free golf cart to take us around the hotel. There is also a beach with wonderful morning buffet breakfast.

This time we stayed in a private villa. The villa faces the sea. Walking out of the swimming pool, you will find the beach. The environment is great too! Very comfortable!

This time I went to Mövenpick Villas & Residences Phu Quoc on Ong Lang Beach in Phu Quoc Island. Once you landed, you felt the tropical atmosphere here, and it was very convenient to take a taxi from the airport to the hotel in about half an hour or so. The hotel is in a great location, close to the beach, which makes you feel relaxed. The hotel is decorated in a tropical style with modern design elements. The lobby is spacious and bright, and the check-in reception at the front desk is particularly warm, giving you a feeling of home. The hotel is very well-equipped with a gym, swimming pool and several restaurants, and their care for the quality of service is felt in every detail. The room was beyond stunning and we were given a free upgrade to the villa which was a super unexpected surprise! The villa was spacious and equipped with a separate pool and kitchen which made us feel right at home. The bed in the room was comfortable and had a variety of pillow options, which was very courteous. The details of the hotel are well handled, the bathrooms are very modern and exceptionally clean and comfortable to use. During our days in Phu Quoc, we ran by the sea every morning and relaxed by the pool in the afternoon. The hotel’s restaurants are great and the scenery is stunning, especially at sunset. The staff at the restaurant were super friendly and helped me take so many beautiful photos that I was so moved that I cried. The seafood platter for dinner is highly recommended, fresh and delicious. The hotel has a very rich wine list and I really hope every day can be spent like this. There are many restaurants in the surrounding area, including Mai Jo Restaurant, Midori House and Tin Tin Pizza not far from the hotel. At night, you can also enjoy the local nightlife at Chill Phu Quoc - Bar. Of course, there are flaws everywhere. The only thing that made me feel a bit inconvenient was that the hotel was a little further away from some of the main attractions and you had to take a taxi to get out, but it wasn’t really a big deal because the environment of the hotel itself was enough to relax and enjoy. Overall, Mövenpick Villas & Residences Phu Quoc is a highly recommended resort hotel with excellent service and environment. This is a great option for a relaxing vacation or honeymoon! 🌺🌊

I’m on Phu Quoc Island, and it’s incredible! 🌴 The beaches are so peaceful, especially Ong Lang Beach, perfect for sunsets and relaxing. I’m staying at Mövenpick Resort Waverly Phu Quoc—the rooms are cozy, the views are amazing, and the staff is super nice. Wonderful spa around! Resort Lobby As the first impression is important, the lobby has a modern and luxurious atmosphere Based on the lobby, there is a kids cafe on the first floor and a gym and waiting lounge on the second floor. If you have time to spare when checking in or checking out, you can relax in the waiting lounge. There is also pocket ball and a shower room. Breakfast Breakfast was not that great compared to other 5-star hotels. There were not many breakfast options, and there were few meats? However, the rice noodles and fruit were really delicious. Amenities Most of the swimming pools are well-maintained, and the swimming pool in front of the beach is really pretty when you see the sunset. For large blue towels, if you tell the reception about your room, they will give you a card according to the number, and you can exchange it for a towel with that card. They will give you the card back when you return the towel. The only regret is that the swimming pool is only open until 7 PM and there is no infinity pool. Pool Villa The interior design is really luxurious, and the lighting at night is really pretty. The view from the kitchen window in the living room is also pretty. We used a 3 bedroom room, and it was great because there were 4 bathrooms. Other I asked about emergency medicine because my throat hurt, and a nurse came to check my symptoms and prescribed medicine, which was great. I have seen other mountain view suites with much worse views. It is recommended to choose a sea view suite, which has a large indoor space, a large balcony, and afternoon tea time. Price per person: 1500～2000 score: The five-star hotel is well-equipped, but many details need to be improved. There is a lot of dust in the corridors, and the water replenishment and room cleaning time are around 5 pm. If you plan to spend the whole day in the hotel, you will hope it can be earlier. There is an app to communicate with the counter. The breakfast is OK, but the hot soup may be a bit hot without air conditioning.

#Ho-kang-seu Contrary to the title, I went to the mountain view.. The mountain view wasn't bad, but it wasn't as pretty as I thought, and as you can see in the picture, there was a large pond like a reservoir, but the water was poop-colored and not pretty ㅠ.ㅠ Whatbenpick Phu Quoc is divided into two: Wavely Hotel and Villas & Residences. If you're not staying in the villas, I recommend staying in the hotel because the price difference between the hotel and the residences isn't that big. Since you're on a short trip, there's nothing to eat in the residences, and the hotel is much closer to the ocean! And the hotel side was built first, and the pool and pub & bar seem to be more main in the hotel side :) Of course, even if you stay at the residence, you can always go to the hotel side and play, so if you really want to stay at the residence, the residence is not bad👍 Anyway, the bonus picks are 1. Chocolate hour where you can enjoy unlimited chocolate 2. Swimming pool with a playground that is good for children 3. Large resort grounds 4. Good facilities for the price I recommend this place for these reasons 💕
