Muar River Cruise
RM20 per person (adult rate) for a 30 minute boat ride is super worth it. They covered most of the Muar River, and it’s nice to pass historical sites like the Sultan Ibrahim Mosque, and also the two Muar bridges; one leading to Tanjung Agas and the other leading to Muar Town.
What’s lovely about the cruise is that it’s also educational at the same time because there’s an audio recording describing important landmarks that passengers will see along the way. Pretty ideal for parents with children old enough to appreciate history, or even school trips for students.
There will also be a group of photographers who will take your picture with a sign that says “Muar Cruise,” and it’s up to your whether you want to purchase it or not. The photo quality is good, and the frame is magnetic which makes it excellent as a memorable souvenir to put on your fridge. It’s a bit costly though - RM40.
Overall, really enjoyed the cruise. Would recommend for first timers visiting Muar and Tanjung Emas.
Operating hours: 9:30am-12:30pm and 2:30pm-5:30pm, on Friday, weekends and public holidays.
