Muggia Italy, small yet peaceful for a day trip
i took a public bus from Trieste italy to muggia, it tooks 34 minutes for me to reach Muggia.
First i visited the Museum d'Arte Moderna Ugo Carà. The lady explained to me why the neighborhood has displayed crochet on the windows and door. This is to attract more tourists to explore their town.
The medieval centre of Muggia is a fascinating tangle of historic buildings and tight walkways. The most famous building in this part of town is the 14th century Castello di Muggia which looks out over the port and across the Gulf of Trieste to the regional capital.
Another things i visited was -Piazza Marconi: The beating heart of Muggia, with the Cathedral and the Town Hall. This is where many people stop for a coffee and drinks in the bars of the square, where residents and many tourists meet.
Then i discovered the small pathways after coffee: a walk through the streets of the historical center offers beautiful views and corners, colorful houses, flowered balconies, with many small details. Perfect for picture taking!Very happy to came here for day trip.
