[2025 Muju-gun ] Travel Guide for Muju Firefly (Updated May)

Location: 1324 Musul-ro, Seolcheon-myeon, Muju-gun, Jeollabuk-do I visited Bandiland and the Insect Museum in Muju, the home of fireflies. It was a place with a lot to see and fun for the price. In particular, I think I will never forget the stories of the rare insects I saw at the Insect Museum. I liked that I could see fireflies and various types of insects and animals, and I could also watch videos. Location: 119 Naedo-ro, Muju-eup, Muju-gun, Jeollabuk-do Muju Eojuk is a local food of Muju-gun, and is a dish made by boiling various freshwater fish. I think I've already visited Muju more than 10 times. Doribangbangi has a great rich taste. It's delicious on its own or wrapped in various vegetables. Eojuk is especially great as a hangover cure. Location: 387-3, Hanpungru-ro, Muju-eup, Muju-gun, Jeollabuk-do, 101-ho This is a new octopus stir-fry restaurant in Muju-eup. I visited during lunch time, and the restaurant was so crowded that it was full. They serve refreshing cucumber soup and steamed eggs. It's really delicious when you mix the spicy octopus stir-fry with crunchy bean sprouts.
