There are cute Tai Omikamikuji fortunes, and to get to MunakataTaishaNakatsumiya, a World Heritage Site in the Munakata Taisha Group, you need to travel from JR Hakata Station to Togo Station, then change to a bus, cross by ferry, and finally arrive at Oshima.
It takes quite a while, and there aren't many bus and ferry services, so make sure you have plenty of time.
It was a wonderful shrine that was worth the time and effort.
The shrine and grounds are beautiful, with Japanese architectural beauty, and are graceful yet not flashy, with a calm atmosphere.
At the shrine surrounded by nature, the refreshing scent of the trees, the clear air, and the beautiful blue sky, perhaps due to the freezing cold, are all divine.
Maybe it's because I have a special attachment to the place because I've always wanted to come? Everything I see feels fresh.
Maybe it's because the air is so clean, but when I take a deep breath, I feel like my whole body is filled with energy.
I wonder if there's a sense of exhilaration because it's a power spot?
Nearby is the river that is said to be the Milky Way in the legend of the Milky Way. It flows next to the Origami Goddess Shrine, and if you look down from the railing, you can see that it's quite deep.
On the other hand, the Hikoboshi Shrine is quietly located in a lush green area quite a distance above the torii gate of the Origami Goddess Shrine.
To visit the Hikoboshi Shrine, you have to climb up a fairly steep mountainside using chains hanging from the shrine, which is dangerous, so it's impossible to visit, so I just looked at it from below and finished my visit.
You can walk to Munakata Taisha Nakatsu Shrine, near the ferry terminal, but if you go to Munakata Taisha Okitsu Shrine, it's quite difficult even with an electric-assisted bicycle, but it's impossible to walk, so I'll give it a try!
Currently, the general public is not allowed to enter Munakata Taisha Okitsumiya, which is part of Munakata Taisha Shrine, so it can only be viewed from the Munakata Taisha Okitsumiya Worship Site.
I had always wanted to go there at least once, so I was very happy that my wish came true this time.
