The San Jose Municipal Rose Garden is located on Naglee Avenue in downtown San Jose, California, USA. It covers an area of about 5.5 acres. It is a public garden open to the public free of charge and is also one of the most popular leisure resorts in the city. Strolling through it, the winding paths lead visitors to various flower beds, lawns and central fountains. From late spring to early summer, the fragrant roses bloom in a colorful and spectacular way. The garden was founded in 1927. It was formerly a plum orchard. After several expansions and renovations, it is now dedicated to the cultivation and display of rose varieties. There are more than 3,500 roses planted in the garden, covering nearly 190 varieties, from classical old roses to modern hybrid new products, which are both ornamental and of scientific significance. In addition to the rich plant display, the rose garden also has two reservable wedding ceremony venues, which attract newlyweds to hold romantic weddings all year round. In the early morning and evening, this place is even more peaceful and is an ideal place for a picnic or photography.
