❤Recommended reasons:
The capital of Colombia, Bogotá, has a very rich historical and cultural atmosphere. The old town is filled with various museums and churches, and it is recommended to stay here for 1-2 days.
Carrera 7 is one of the busiest commercial streets in Bogotá, with various shops and restaurants. Nearby, Plaza de Bolivar is a popular spot with many famous landmarks, such as the Bogotá Cathedral (Catedral Primada), the National Capitol (Capitolio Nacional), the City Hall, and the Courthouse, all of which are great for taking photos.
Additionally, it is recommended to visit the Gold Museum, which is free on Sundays and costs only a few RMB on other days, allowing you to experience what it feels like to have a mine at home 😄
📝Tips:
The security in Bogotá is average, so be sure not to show off your wealth, avoid deserted areas, and go out less at night. Keep your bag in front of you and be wary of pickpockets.

Transport: metro is being built in Colombia so mostly you rely on trains, buses and taxis. Uber is available here too.
What’s special ✨: people’s talents. When the access to technology of regular people is not easy, they rely on their hands and their brains.

Ko Asian Kitchen
Address: Cra. 15 #124-30, Usaquén, Bogotá, Cundinamarca, Colombia
Features: This restaurant has a variety of Asian cuisine, Thai, Japanese and Korean. We ordered coconut shrimp rice, Korean bibimbap, siomai and ramen. It was quite delicious and can be eaten in South America. It is more orthodox. Asian food is a very happy thing, and their drinks are also very diverse. They have all kinds of juice sodas, and they even have pearl milk tea~ If you happen to be in Bogota, you can come here to satisfy your cravings.

Colourful Colonial Streets
La Candelaria is an amazing part of Bogota to visit, as one of the most beautiful and historic districts, this is where you can come to escape modernity and step back into colonial times.
You’ll get a real bohemian vibe while walking through these streets, and will be able to gaze upon a multitude of artistic and musical offerings by those regularly practising their craft. It truly is an area filled with life, colour and vibrancy that totally captured my heart!
Whether you choose to duck into small eateries, grab a pastry or two, or simply admire the street art, it’ll be a pleasant sensory overload!

Mount Monserrate in Bogota - Colombia 🇨🇴
Mount Monserrate is a place that you can’t miss if you are in the city of Bogota D.C. Getting there is pretty easy as it is located in downtown and all drivers know where is located or you can stay in nearby hotels. It’s a place that is worthy to see both: during day and night time as the lights makes the place look stunning. There is a lot of walking and climbing to do if you want to properly explore the place. So plan ahead to dress comfortably specially good walking shoes and WATER!

Guatavita Lake - Colombia 🇨🇴
Guatavita Lake is one of the largest and most beautiful parks in the city of Guatavita. As this landmark is very far from the nearest city, you need to arrange private transportation to get there or buy a half day tour which is quite popular. This tour will arrange round trip transportation in comfortable buses. Once you arrive to this place you might want to spend three or four hours to include the hike, stops for drinking water, break, and picture time. This place is surrounded just with nature and fresh air. There are many trail options which are serene, peaceful, not crowded, lush green and an easy to hike. The hike could be challenging only in the case you are not used to high altitudes. There is so much history involved in this place so you might need a tour guide to know all details or talk to local people.

One of the most visited tourist sites in Bogota - El Museo de Oro - or, the Museum of Gold. Here, we witnessed the largest collection of gold artefacts (said to be around 34,000 pieces) that showcase everything from pottery and textile objects to jewellery and more - all highlighting the country’s indigenous culture / past. An interesting and informative place to visit for anyone in the city!

Take the cable car to the Montserrat mountain - Monserrat view, is one of the special recommendations in Bogota, Colombia.
is the commanding height of the whole Bogota. You can choose to walk on foot, about 40 minutes in one way, or take the cable car, and it will take five minutes.
There is still a pilgrimage center for local believers. The road to the mountain is also known as the Cross Road, along with stories depicting the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.
The white monastery on the top of the mountain can be seen in almost any corner of Bogota. And because of its unique location, it is the best view point overlooking Bogota.
At the top of the mountain, you can not only visit the top-level churches that have seen miracles in the legend, but also the entire Bogota.
Standing on the hill overlooking the city, I feel my own smallness. There is a statue of Christ in the church. There are many miracles in the legend.

Walking th
Walking through the old city of Bogota, the colorful faades line the cobblestone streets of Bogota's colonial center. It is a pleasant walk.
Bolivar Square is the most important square in the city and the starting point for perfect travel.
To say that in Bogota, it is leisurely and free, because everything is the original appearance of life, full of color and not artificial.
From colonial architecture to trendy bars, every neighborhood in Bogota is full of energy and has a very special energy.
Visit the famous San Alberto cafe in Bogota and participate in the tasting of their molecular coffee making process. The good coffee can also be extended to a better taste in many ways~
All their coffee beans are carefully cultivated by the farmers, artificially picked to achieve the best results, harvest the best boutique beans.
365 days a year, they have 40 weeks to manage the coffee tree. From weeding and fertilizing, we must always check whether the coffee tree has patients, and also pay attention to climate change, the renewal of coffee trees, and the treatment of old trees.
This is to ensure that the harvested coffee meets the quality standards.
tried a variety of coffee products in various preparation methods, all have a good taste.

[Salvio Parque 93 Bogota Curio Collection by Hilton] Hotel Review: The best beds in a fashionable city
[Bed is the best]
The mattress was the best I've ever had in a hotel I've stayed at. The two large queen beds were very spacious and made for a very comfortable stay.
[Abundant restaurants within walking distance]
The hotel faces a park called Parque93, and there are many restaurants around the park. It was very convenient, with everything from coffee shops to Japanese restaurants.
[Relatively safe location]
In large cities in South America, security issues are a concern, but Parque93 is in a relatively safe area, and even at night there are families and couples walking around the restaurants. This is my personal opinion, but I never felt particularly unsafe during my four-day stay. Of course, it's better to be careful about your safety.
[Breakfast with vibrant colors]
The breakfast buffet doesn't have a wide variety of items, but it has a variety of rare South American items, such as fruits I've never seen before. There is also an a la carte menu other than the buffet, so you can order egg dishes from there.
[Attentive service]
They frequently refilled our coffee, and when I asked for boiled eggs for my child, which were not on the menu, they gladly accommodated.

My 233 Trip: Bogota Old Town
The Old Town of Bogota is a magical city supported by the Andes Mountains. It dialogues with history in the clouds at an altitude of 2,640 meters, weaving a symbiotic picture of colonial memory and modern pulse with colors and graffiti.
The Old Town of Bogota is a collection of contradictions: it is both a museum of colonial heritage and a laboratory of street art; it has both the coldness of the Andes and the passion of the tropics; it carries the memory of violence and breeds the hope of new life. Walking through it, every stone slab tells multiple stories, and every graffiti is a resistance and mockery of fate. This magical city on the plateau eventually became the key to understanding the soul of Colombia.

Not what you'd imagine! The colorful and cute city of Bogota🇨🇴
Colombia has a bad reputation for its security 🇨🇴
It's not completely safe, but it's a shame to think of it as just dangerous!
It's a very colorful and cute city 🫶🏻🧡
[Recommended spots in Bogota]
🛏️banana hostel
The owner is very kind and very comfortable ✨
The bed is big, and when you close the curtains it feels like a private room 😴
The area around the hostel is also cute, making it the perfect base for walking around the city!
🍽️ Tolú Restaurante (Mamá Luz)
A popular restaurant that was featured on Netflix!
It's a little pricey for street food, but it's delicious!
The street you can walk to from here, Calle Bonita, is also super cute!
💈Peluquería éxitos
Hair salon💇♀️Color only 8000 yen💰
It's pretty expensive considering the cost of living in Colombia, but Colombians seem to have a high sense of beauty, so I was very satisfied with the results🥹✨
Recommended for those who really want to go to a hair salon during a long trip!
The areas introduced here are relatively safe, so if you have a chance to go to Bogota, please go there!
