[Paris] Orangerie Museum🎨
General admission: 12.5€ (free for those under 18)
The Orangerie Museum in France, where Monet's water lilies are on display. In this beautiful, refined museum with a white base, there are many breathtakingly beautiful paintings on display. Monet's water lilies are particularly impressive.
I also fell in love at first sight with a water lily-themed notebook in the souvenir shop inside the museum 🌷 Be sure to buy one when you visit!
🚨Advance reservations recommended
The line is divided into same-day tickets and reservations, but the line on the day didn't move at all... so I gave up and made a reservation online the next day.

Orangerie, the French Museum of Modern Art🎨
It was used as a greenhouse to protect the orange trees of the Louvre Palace in the past,
and it was named Orangerie~!
It is smaller than the Louvre or Orsay,
but most people come here to see Monet's water lilies😊
The work is so long that I wonder how he painted it🤔🤔 When I looked closely, there were traces of connections🤔
There are many other famous works, and admission is free on the first Sunday of every month! Be sure to make a reservation online and go in~! However, there are a lot of people! The quiet Orangerie on weekdays is also nice😊

Paris Orangerie & Orsay Combo Ticket
Combo ticket price 🎫: 20💶
Where to buy:
Combo tickets can only be purchased offline at the Orangerie Museum. When you arrive at the Orangerie Museum, go through security first. After security, you will see a ticket window on the right. At the ticket window, just tell the staff that you want to buy a "combined ticket"!
The ticket stubs are beautiful and each one is different! 🥰
📎📎📎
After getting the combo ticket, visit the Orangerie Museum first. The Orangerie Museum is relatively small, so you can efficiently visit the main exhibits. After that, you can visit the Orsay Museum on any day within the next seven days. When queuing at the Orsay Museum, please note that you should queue in the line for those with tickets but without a time slot.
Since combo tickets can only be purchased offline, to avoid long queues, it is recommended to go to the Orangerie Museum as early as possible in the morning. This will not only reduce the time spent queuing for tickets, but also give you more time to plan your itinerary after visiting the Orangerie Museum!

Orangery Art Museum❤️

If I had to choose one Paris art museum,
I would choose the Orangerie Museum.
It is the museum that houses Monet's Water Lilies.
It can be said that it is the museum that most accurately captures the intention of Monet's Water Lilies. At first, I thought there would be one large painting,
but it is surrounded by Monet's Water Lilies in a circular room.
It is not just one simple painting, but several Water Lilies paintings are connected,
so you can enjoy them in 360 degrees.
It was such a satisfying place that I could sit and look at them all the time.
In addition, there are special exhibitions by David Hockney and others, so I came here after seeing many other works.
If you have to go to one art museum, I recommend this one!!

Monet's former residence, a world of flowers.
Monet's Garden and Claude Monet's House are located in Giverny, Normandy, France. It is the former residence of the famous French Impressionist painter Monet.
Here you can see two parts: the water garden and the garden. The garden, also known as the Normandy Garden, is located in front of the house and is rectangular in shape, covering an area of about one hectare. The flower area includes multiple gardens planted with different flowers. There are 4 During the opening season of the month, the flowers are in full bloom, as if all the colors in the world have been gathered here. Even before the park closes in October, people can still enjoy the tranquility of the chrysanthemums.
The water garden is an artificial lake filled with water lilies, and a Japanese-style bridge is built in the center of the water garden. It is because of this water garden that we can see Monet's famous water lily series paintings at the Orangerie Museum in Paris.
Monet is the founder of Impressionism. He lived in this garden for the next 40 years of his life, where Monet studied deeply the reflection of light and color in water, depicting different scenes in the four seasons. In his later years, he successfully created hundreds of paintings with water lilies as the theme, and Become his most representative work.
Walking through the garden, visitors may feel Monet's joy and tranquility as he sat quietly by the pool and experienced the intersection of nature and inspiration. This beautiful garden and painter's home was the source of inspiration for the Impressionist master Claude Monet and is now a pilgrimage site for art lovers and tourists.
From Paris:
Train: Take the train from Paris Saint-Lazare train station (Gare Saint-Lazare) to Vernon, which takes about 45 minutes. After arriving in Vernon, you can take a bus or taxi to Giverny, which takes about 20 minutes.
Self-driving: It takes about 1.5 hours (about 75 kilometers) to drive from Paris to Giverny, along the A13 highway.
play time
Opening hours: Monet's gardens and former residence are generally open from April to the end of October, from 9:30 am to 18:00 pm every day.
Best season to visit: Spring and summer (April to September) are the best times to visit, when all kinds of flowers are in bloom in the garden and the scenery is the most charming.

Enjoy the great works of two masters, Monet's Water Lilies, which can be appreciated up close in large scale, truly worth it! You can sit in the exhibition room and quietly enjoy the peace that the artwork brings to your soul. Picasso's works downstairs are also not to be missed, it's rare to see so many paintings at once, truly a feast for the eyes. Next to it is the Tuileries Garden, after the exhibition, you can have a picnic there.

There aren't many works, but it's a place where you can go just by looking at Monet. It's a bright white-toned art museum, so it's neat and sensuous overall. It's free if you have a European student visa, and they keep to the closing time, so please note :-)

🇫🇷France Orangerie Museum
The first museum I visited in my trip to France
I bought a two-day pass that allows unlimited visits to museums in Paris, and made a reservation for admission in advance in Japan. I went to see it first thing in the morning.
The Orangerie Museum displays Monet's water lilies, and sunlight enters from the ceiling, allowing you to view the paintings in natural light.
The moment you enter, you're engulfed in Monet's atmosphere, and the refined space never lets you get bored, no matter how long you stay. It was a wonderful time.
I bought the usual postcard and headed to the next museum. 🏃♀️

Art museums In Paris, where there are so many museums, this is the place I recommend after the Louvre Museum (personally!)
There are many works that are admirable for their delicate brushwork
and even the famous Monet's Water Lilies series..! 🌺
Do you know how happy it is to take pictures of a few impressive works and then find a postcard of them at the museum's souvenir shop at the end?🥹
Monet's Water Lilies series is so famous, so of course!! There were a lot of goods like postcards, cups, badges, stationery, etc.ㅎㅎ
The Orangerie Museum, where even the tickets were so pretty🤍
I'm a student studying in an EU country, so I got a discount on the ticket price:) Check the discounted website to see if you're eligible!!

MUSEE DE I'ORNANGERIE.
The Musée de l'Orangerie (English: Orangery Museum) is an art gallery of impressionist and post-impressionist paintings located in the west corner of the Tuileries Garden next to the Place de la Concorde in Paris. The museum is most famous as the permanent home of eight large Water Lilies murals by Claude Monet, and also contains works by Paul Cézanne, Henri Matisse, Amedeo Modigliani, Pablo Picasso, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Henri Rousseau, Alfred Sisley, Chaïm Soutine, Maurice Utrillo, and others.
Monet’s waterfall Lillie’s exhibit is none like any place else in the world. A meditative oasis in heart of Paris as Monet intended. However with bustling tourists traffic and selfie mongers it’s hard to find a quiet moment.

To see Monet's paintings, go to the 'Orangerie Museum' 🌷
Have you all seen these pictures~?
It's in the 'Orangerie Museum', one of the must-visit art museums in Paris!! 🌷🌷
I booked my tickets in advance on the official website, so I went in right away without waiting! If you don't book in advance, you'll have to wait in line to buy on-site, so I recommend booking in advance🤓 (The line is really long..)
Also, I booked an audio guide, and it was really great to listen to the explanations carefully while looking at the works! (Please note that there is no Korean interpretation for certain works.)
Admission ticket: €12.5
Audio guide: €5

Monet's work at the Orangerie Museum in Paris, France
#EuropeanTravel #ParisTravel #FranceTravel #OrangerieMuseum #Monet
France is also famous for art, and I visited the Orangerie Museum where I can see the masterpieces of my favorite artist, Claude Monet.
Monet's 'Water Lilies', which can be said to be the main character of the Orangerie Museum, is a great place to appreciate the works because the exhibition room is oval-shaped.
The Orangerie Museum has eight permanent exhibits of Monet's water lilies.
The Orangerie Museum is free on the first Sunday of every month, and is closed every Tuesday.
The opening hours are from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The line to enter is quite long, so I recommend visiting leisurely.
If you are planning to visit another famous art museum in Paris, France, the combined admission ticket for the Orsay Museum and the Orangerie Museum is cheaper!
How about just sitting at the Orangerie Museum and looking at Monet's water lilies?
If you like Claude Monet, I definitely recommend visiting the Orangerie Museum!

The Orangerie Museum is located near the Orsay Museum! It is not without a sense of being famous for its water lilies, but you can also see various works of art there! You can also purchase a combined ticket with the Orsay Museum, so I highly recommend visiting!
