#Art Gallery Did you know that there are times when you can see Picasso's masterpiece [Guernica] for free? Guernica is on display at the Reina Sofia Art Center in Madrid, the capital of Spain. Normally, you would have to pay an admission fee. However, from Wednesday to Saturday, it is free after 7pm! Anyone can enter for free ✨ By the way, the way to enter is ① Get a free ticket at the ticket counter ② Put larger luggage in the locker behind the ticket counter (You put in a coin, but it will be returned when you pick up your luggage) ③ Enter That's all 🫶🏽 And what's more!! The ban on taking photos of Guernica for 30 years has been lifted from September 2023 🙌 I visited around 7pm on a Thursday in March, I expected it to be crowded, but it was very empty. It boasts a collection of modern abstract and surrealism works from painters including Picasso, Dalí, Miró, and others. From February to March, there is a special exhibition of Picasso 1906, showcasing the transformation process from Picasso's early style to his later abstract style. 🕘【Opening Hours】: Refer to image 13, it is free to the public from Monday to Saturday from 7 am to 9 am, and from 7 pm to 9 pm. You can also buy tickets in advance on the website and scan the code to enter directly. The museum is quite large and there are many paintings, personally, I think two hours is definitely not enough, if you have time, at least half a day should be reserved for the visit. Additionally, audio guides are available for 4 euros each, which can be rented after entering. 💴【Ticket Price】: The total ticket price for entry in February is 12 euros, including the special exhibition of Picasso 1906. 🚌【Transportation Tips】: It is located opposite the atocha train station, take the subway line 1 to the arte de estacion station, the one before ATOCHA, and you will arrive in one minute without crossing the road. 🧡Tips: Picasso's large painting 'Guernica' is exhibited in Room 205.
