Japan's largest sea of lights
I haven’t been back to the countryside for a long time, so I had to find some old photos to review. This time it was in December 2018 at Nabana-no-Sato in Mie Prefecture, Japan.
Since driving in Japan is so convenient, people usually choose to travel by car. There is a parking lot outside the venue with direct access to the door. If you are unable to drive yourself, you can also use the "Kintetsu Train & Bus Package" from Nagoya Airport to Mie Prefecture, which is also very convenient.
Nabana-no-Sato also has a flower festival in the spring, but if you want to see the sea of lights, you have to wait until late October to mid-May. I have forgotten how much the admission fee was in 2018, but I just searched online and found out that for 2022, it is only 2,000 yen, and it also includes a 1,000 yen gift certificate that can be used on site. In total, it is less than 60 yuan. At this time when the yen is low, everything is cheap.
The Nabana-no-Sato area is divided into different areas, where a wide variety of flowers and plants are planted. You can first see the carefully cultivated flowers during the day. The sea of lights at night is the largest lighting installation in Japan, including many places to check in, such as the Tunnel of Light, the Sea of Light, the Twin Trees and Mount Fuji. There is also a light show made with LED.
If you are tired of shopping, you can dine in the restaurants on site. As far as I can remember, there are French, Italian, Chinese and Japanese restaurants, which will definitely satisfy your taste buds. In addition, there are bedrock baths and hot springs, and souvenirs are sold to meet everyone's different needs.
