This lake is one of the prettiest I’ve seen in my life and is regarded by some as the most beautiful lake in the world. Yamdrok Lake is located near Shigatse in the Tibet Autonoumous Region. It stretches 130km in length and is also known as the green jade lake for its smooth surface and color hues from the reflection of the sunlight. One of the highlights of this trip is to take pictures of the starry sky and the Milky Way. We settled in the camping base by the YamdrokTso Lake the previous night. The accommodation conditions are very simple. There are male dormitories and female dormitories. Each dormitory has 5-6 people, just like the dormitory in school. Because the altitude is a bit high, and I was worried about getting up to see the stars at night, I hardly slept all night. At 4 am in the morning, the team leader called up and took pictures of the starry sky. Once step out the dormitory door, you could see the white Milky Way and the stars by eyes. IPhones can also take some photos with straight shots. But it's still inferior to a professional camera, adjust the shutter to 25 seconds, make a good post, keep it still, Kata, the blockbuster is coming! It's like walking in the universe.
