I don't travel abroad often, but I went to Fukuoka for my third independent trip. ㅎㅎ. It was my first trip to Japan, so I went for 3 nights and 4 days. I spent some time around Nakasu Kawabata, a busy shopping district in Fukuoka. There was a beautiful Christmas tree illumination along the river, sponsored by a company. In front of Mitsukoshi in Tenjin, there was a Christmas illumination that looked like it was in perpetual summer, which was interesting. The day after I drank a lot in Nakasu and stayed at a hotel. I was hungry after drinking a lot of beer, so I had breakfast at Bills. The pancakes and avocado were delicious! I lazed around until about 3pm and got hungry, so I had some tonkotsu ramen on the way home! It was quite salty but delicious! #gourmet #autumntrip

Nakasu Jazz is a staple autumn event in Nakasu, Fukuoka. The atmosphere at night is completely different from the daytime atmosphere and is very lively. It's truly the night town of Nakasu. A stage is set up blocking the road on Nakasu Boulevard, the main street in the center of Nakasu, and a lot of music can be heard. People crowd around the stage. The stage continues from Hakata Riverain to Nakasu, stopping at the former Fukuoka Prefectural Public Hall Kihinkan, and from Seiryu Park to Canal City Hakata. There are also stalls set up by the stage, and you can enjoy jazz while eating drinks and snacks.
