Located in the center of Osaka, Japan, Namba Shrine is one of the oldest shrines in Osaka. The shrine is located in the bustling Namba area, but it is quiet in the bustling area. The red lacquer torii and the vermilion corridors are shaded by lush trees, creating a solemn atmosphere. The main hall adopts the traditional Shinmei-zukuri architectural style. The cypress roof and log-colored beams and columns are simple and elegant. The gods such as Okuninushi and Sukunahikona are enshrined inside, and they are regarded as symbols of blessing business prosperity and eliminating diseases and disasters. The most distinctive feature of Namba Shrine is the "Namba Palace Festival" held in July every year. During the festival, the gorgeous sedan chair parade passed through the streets of Osaka, and the participants in the festival dressed in traditional costumes sang and danced, which was very lively. The surrounding vendors also sell Osaka specialties such as takoyaki and okonomiyaki, attracting many tourists and believers to come and pray and play.
