This journey makes me full of expectations✨. As soon as you walk into the pier, you can feel the gentle sea breeze and the waves lapping at the shore, which makes you feel happy🌊. Boarding the fast ferry, when the boat slowly sailed away from the shore, I felt a sense of excitement in my heart😊. On the boat, I found a position on the railing and felt the gentle swaying of the waves, accompanied by the low roar of the engine, which made people feel relaxed💺. The water outside the window shimmers in the sun, like a sparkling blue carpet. As the boat moves forward, beautiful paintings of Nami Island and the lakeside gradually unfold. The tour I mentioned last time to Petite France Village🤴, after visiting the village in the morning, we headed to Nami Island🏝~ We had lunch at a spicy chicken restaurant near the pier🥢, but this meal was at our own expense💸~ Besides spicy chicken, you can also order rice, noodles, or potato pancakes~ I personally didn't find it too spicy, the chicken was very tender🐔, and there were also rice cakes and cabbage~ Potatoes are a local specialty, and their potato pancakes are chewy🥔, highly recommended! Nami Island is quite interesting, it calls itself the Republic of Nami Island~ There's a border crossing, which is actually just the place to board the boat~ The boat is quite large and spacious🛥, but there aren't many seats, though the ride isn't long~ Nami Island is most famous for its green tree-lined paths like the one in the picture🌳, with ginkgo and metasequoia trees~ I believe the place turns golden in autumn🍂, it must be stunning! In the middle, there's a snack kiosk, most famous for its red bean buns🥯~ It was really hot the day we went, so we ordered the red bean bun shaved ice🍧~ However, their shaved ice is made of relatively large ice chunks, topped with condensed milk🍼~ Whether you like this texture is a matter of personal preference~ We stayed on the island for about an hour or two⏳️~ Then it was time to take the boat back to the other side and prepare to return to Seoul🚍~ The tour had some great spots, but it was really rushed... If the tour could start a bit earlier and end a bit later🤏, it would be almost perfect~

Nami Island Day Tour 🧡 I heard that Nami Island became famous because of the Korean drama Winter Sonata. I was inspired by watching Julian Cheung on the variety show "You Are My Friend" I learned about this place by flying into Nami Island through a zip line. Although it is far from Seoul, it is worth visiting. We took the subway from Seoul to Cheonggyeong-ri and transferred to the ITX Youth Train Line to Gapyeong Station and then took a taxi to Nami Island Pier ⛴️⛴️ There are 2 ways to enter the island when you arrive at Nami Island Pier ➡️Choose to take a ferry or zip line to Nami Island If you like excitement, try ziplining to enter the island. The zipline also has 2 versions with different speeds‼ ️ The family route is slower and you can slide directly to Nami Island. The adventure route is faster. First slide to Zara Island and then take a speedboat to Nami Island. We chose the family route and flew directly to Nami Island 🥰🥰 The zip line is really worth playing except that it is a bit scary to open the gate. You need to take a ferry or opt for the fun way of crossing to Nami island via zip line. Wear comfortable shoes as travelling around the island is by foot. I woke up early and took a car ride of about two hours from Seoul and manage to arrived early at Gapyeong Wharf and bought ferry ticket for the earliest ferry ride to Nami Island before large crowd of visitors arrived looking for beautiful scenery and favourite photo spots. Don’t worry about food, there are many restaurants and cafes to ease any hunger pranks. The popular tree-lined pathways are glistening with bright yellow leaves, straight out of a set from a Korean- drama. A must visit place in Korea!! Located near Seoul, Nami Island is a beautiful island that is among the most popular attractions in Korea. Some people may ask: What is the best time to visit to this place? To be honest, there is no best time as every season offers different beautiful scenery but Autumn is just my thing with the vibrant colour of landscaped trees and maple leaves around ♥️♥️😄 🍁Transportation: (personally I chose ITX but there are other options as well) - From Cheongnyangni Station, purchase the tickets directly in the train counter - Board ITX train to Gapyeong Station - Suppose to hop abroad the Gapyeong City Tour Bus to the wharf but it was too crowded so we decided to take the taxi (not really remember but i think it took around 10 min and costs roughly KRW 3500 - KRW 4000) - Taking the ferry to the island directly —— > Highly recommend to go there early morning if you are going to French Village as well as the ferry queue from Nami Island back to the Wharf is crazy (we waited for more than 1 hour🥲🥲) and we ended up miss the operation hour of the village 🥲 #namiisland #seoul #korea

Nami Island, South Korea Nami Island is a Korean tourist attraction that became popular because of the Korean drama "Winter Sonata". Although I don't watch Korean dramas, after walking along the Metasequoia Road where "Winter Sonata" was filmed, I really recommend that everyone should arrange at least half a day to visit Nami Island when traveling to Seoul. I came to Nami Island in the autumn when the maple leaves turn red. In fact, Nami Island is also beautiful when it snows in winter and when it is full of flowers in spring! There are daily shuttle services to and from Nami Island, but the frequency is limited, with only one trip per day. Direct bus tickets need to be purchased in advance.
