Joined a day tour to Nami Island and the Petite France — and it honestly felt like stepping into two different storybooks in one trip! Nami was peaceful and scenic with tree-lined paths perfect for slow strolls, while the Petite French had charming European vibes, colorful buildings, and cute cafés. I didn’t have to plan a thing, just followed along and enjoyed the ride. Everything was well-organized, and I didn’t have to worry about transport or tickets.We took tons of photos and made sweet memories. #Travel to save the world Since my friends and I wanted to follow the series, we came to Nami Island during the time when Korea was very hot five or six years ago. During spring, the weather was cool, around 10 degrees. It was very pleasant to walk around because the atmosphere was great. The leaves were changing colors beautifully, especially the maple leaves. The shades of red and orange were so soothing to the eyes. No matter where you walk, there are corners to stop and take pictures. It felt like you were in a postcard. When you have a chance to sit and relax and sip some coffee, the view makes your heart calm. It is one of the moments when nature makes us feel warm even though the weather is cold. I was inspired by watching Julian Cheung on the variety show "You Are My Friend" I learned about this place by flying into Nami Island through a zip line. Although it is far from Seoul, it is worth visiting. We took the subway from Seoul to Cheonggyeong-ri and transferred to the ITX Youth Train Line to Gapyeong Station and then took a taxi to Nami Island Pier ⛴️⛴️ There are 2 ways to enter the island when you arrive at Nami Island Pier ➡️Choose to take a ferry or zip line to Nami Island If you like excitement, try ziplining to enter the island. The zipline also has 2 versions with different speeds‼ ️ The family route is slower and you can slide directly to Nami Island. The adventure route is faster. First slide to Zara Island and then take a speedboat to Nami Island. We chose the family route and flew directly to Nami Island 🥰🥰 The zip line is really worth playing except that it is a bit scary to open the gate. The end of October is the maple leaf season and the scenery is beautiful. We get to see the full beauty of autumn surrounding the island. The scent of trees made me relax and there are squirrels & rabbits running around you. It is a beautiful & romantic place to visit and a must for kdrama lover. A must visit place in Korea!! Located near Seoul, Nami Island is a beautiful island that is among the most popular attractions in Korea. Some people may ask: What is the best time to visit to this place? To be honest, there is no best time as every season offers different beautiful scenery but Autumn is just my thing with the vibrant colour of landscaped trees and maple leaves around ♥️♥️😄 🍁Transportation: (personally I chose ITX but there are other options as well) - From Cheongnyangni Station, purchase the tickets directly in the train counter - Board ITX train to Gapyeong Station - Suppose to hop abroad the Gapyeong City Tour Bus to the wharf but it was too crowded so we decided to take the taxi (not really remember but i think it took around 10 min and costs roughly KRW 3500 - KRW 4000) - Taking the ferry to the island directly —— > Highly recommend to go there early morning if you are going to French Village as well as the ferry queue from Nami Island back to the Wharf is crazy (we waited for more than 1 hour🥲🥲) and we ended up miss the operation hour of the village 🥲 #namiisland #seoul #korea
