Guangxi Hechi City Nandan County Yun Guantian
Guangxi Hechi City Nandan County Yun Guantian|||On the way to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area in Libo County, I stayed in a county town in Hechi City, Guangxi, which borders Libo County, Guizhou Province, Nandan County. Nandan County is a smaller county with a permanent population of about 300,000. I recommend staying at the Nandan Tusi Grand Hotel, which is relatively new, has convenient parking, is quite safe, and the breakfast is decent. There are supermarkets around for convenient dining and shopping. If you are driving, it is not far to the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area in Libo. There are several attractions near Nandan County, and this time I visited the Yun Guantian Scenic Area along the way. This scenic area is named for its high vantage point, suggesting a view of the clouds and sky. The entrance fee is 30 yuan. If you are driving, you can take the highway or the national road. The road into the scenic area is very steep and narrow, with guardrails, and is not suitable for novice drivers. There are small wooden cabins on the mountain top where you can stay, costing about 300 yuan per night. You can also bring your own tent for camping. There are toilets and public bathrooms where you can take a shower. The scenic area seems to be still under construction, and there are no dining facilities on the mountain top, so you need to bring your own food. If you go in the summer, the sun is extremely strong and it is very hot until around 7 pm when the sun sets, so be sure to take sun protection measures. Overall, it looks like an unfinished scenic spot. It is not worth a special trip from afar, but it is okay to visit if you are passing by.
