Nanshan Bamboo Sea Recharging Journey | Experiencing "Contentment" in a "Natural Oxygen Bar"
| Experiencing "Contentment" in a "Natural Oxygen Bar"
🏨 Destination: Nanshan Bamboo Sea & Anyun Yuenanshan Hot Spring Resort Hotel
📍 Detailed Address: 555 Lijia Village, Nanshan Bamboo Sea Scenic Area, Daibu Town, Liyang City, Changzhou, Jiangsu Province
🚗 Transportation: About 2.5 hours driving from Shanghai/Nanjing, or 30 minutes by taxi after arriving at Liyang High-speed Railway Station.
🔷🔷🔷 A spontaneous "let's go" journey. After seeing photos of Nanshan Bamboo Sea, I was instantly captivated. I saw the pictures in the morning, departed in the afternoon, and booked the hotel at the last minute.
🌟 Nanshan Bamboo Sea is located in Liyang City, Changzhou, famous for its ten thousand acres of emerald bamboo. Entering the scenic area, you'll see rolling bamboo forests that stay green all year round. The entire park is several degrees cooler than the city center, making it perfect for escaping the summer heat. Due to its high vegetation coverage, it's known as the "natural oxygen bar" of the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region.
🌟 The scenic area is also decorated with wind chimes. Walking along the bamboo forest boardwalk accompanied by the tinkling sound of bells, all negative emotions are instantly healed.
🗺️ There are two routes available for exploring the scenic area. After taking the mini train/sightseeing car from the main entrance to the transfer point, you can choose: Route A: Ground cable car (5min) to Jiming Village/Panda Pavilion; Route B: Aerial cable car (10min) to Wu-Yue First Peak.
🗺️ Recommended one-day itinerary with package ticket (💰260): Scenic area entrance + one-way mini train + round-trip ground cable car + round-trip aerial cable car. Finally, walking downhill from the transfer point, you can pass through attractions like "Bird Paradise," "Stream Tracing Point," and "Quiet Lake." If you only have half a day, I recommend taking the ground cable car, as the red carriages traveling through the bamboo forest are especially beautiful.
🏨 This trip was mainly about relaxing and recharging, so I chose a resort-style hotel. I selected Anyun Yuenanshan Hot Spring Resort Hotel because:
✅ Excellent location, and the stay exceeded my expectations!
✅ The hotel features primarily Chinese design, with furniture in Suzhou vintage style. The natural style combining solid wood and volcanic rock complements the scenic area perfectly.
✅ Dined at the hotel on the night of check-in, ordered local specialties like fish head soup, rested briefly, then enjoyed the hot springs. Fell asleep to the cool bamboo forest breeze at night and woke up to birdsong in the morning—truly relaxing.
🌟 Hotel highlights:
▪ Hot springs: Complimentary hot spring tickets included with stay, with three small pools available. Some room types even have private hot springs with bamboo forest views from the terrace.
▪ Family-friendly: The hotel has a children's play area and swimming pool, making it ideal for families with kids.
▪ Dining: Homemade breakfast with abundant variety, and the hotel's Chinese restaurant allows you to enjoy local cuisine without leaving the premises.
