Kunming's free garden is great for photography
40 minutes away from Kunming, in Anning City, there is a historical and cultural garden called Nanyuan. It was designed and supervised by the famous Chinese garden artist and Tongji University professor, Mr. Chen Congzhou. Completed in 1991, it is named after the nanmu wood used in its construction. The garden features water flowing around mountains, and mountains enlivened by water, with corridors, pavilions, halls, towers, and galleries. Each window has a unique design, creating a profound garden space effect. The place is beautiful and less crowded, making it perfect for photography, especially for styles like Hanfu and cheongsam.
We visited again today. This kind of Chinese garden style scene, combined with cloudy weather, surprisingly produces good results with some color adjustments.

📷Photography Tips:
1️⃣ On cloudy days, the light is soft for portraits, and the light is okay all day. On sunny days, avoid the direct sunlight between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, as it will create shadows on the face and make it hard to keep eyes open, affecting the shooting effect.
2️⃣ The garden is filled with green plants, white walls, and black tiles, with small bridges and flowing water. The best clothing colors are white, red, yellow, blue, and other light colors. The least suitable are black, gray, and green (as the large green plants in the garden will blend with the background).
