Taichung|Hidden behind the Fourth Credit Union, a highly cost-effective cultural and creative micro-tourism in the Tonghua
Taipei had been cold and gloomy for a few days, and I suddenly wanted to go somewhere sunny, so I jumped on a train and went to Taichung. The restaurant we booked was near the station, behind the Fourth Credit Union where everyone loved to eat ice cream. The location was easy to find, and the lobby was quite energy-efficient, so I passed by it twice before I could see the sign clearly.
There is a design space next to the lobby that runs through the upper floors, creating a special atmosphere. The room is not small, the bed is moderately soft and hard, and what is more special is that there is a small bathtub. It is very comfortable to take a bath after a day of shopping. The washbasin is outside the bathroom, which has a sense of design. The TV can watch iQiyi and YouTube, but it’s a pity that the TV is not big.
Have dinner at Yizhong Night Market, then walk through Taichung Park, about 15 minutes to the hotel. I want to go to the Second Market for breakfast, which is only six or seven minutes’ walk away. There is a convenience store on Jiguang Street next to the hotel, so it is not a problem to have a midnight snack or drink beer at night.
You can stay in a double bed room for the price of a shared room in a youth hostel, which is very cost-effective and suitable for those who want to take a walk on a whim but don't want to spend too much money or be disturbed by other people's snoring.
