[Nasu] An inn nestled in a quiet forest: "Nasu Muku no Oto"
I stayed at the Nasu Muku no Oto auberge, located in a quiet forest.
If you make a reservation by 7pm the day before, you can use the free shuttle bus from Nasu-Shiobara Station.
I had some time before check-in, so I was able to go to the water garden that I had always wanted to see.
The scenery I had seen in photos and videos spread out before my eyes, and I was moved.
The birds' calls and the sounds of the water were soothing that I felt like I could stay there for hours.
I checked in leisurely at 3pm while enjoying a welcome drink.
The moment I entered the room, I was so nervous because it was so nice, but the view from the window, the smell of the wood and the space made me feel so comfortable that I instantly thought I was at home, and I spent my time relaxing until dinner while enjoying delicious coffee.
Dinner was a creative course that made use of ingredients from Nasu.
The appearance and taste were like a work of art, and it was truly amazing.
The new onion ice cream and the way the Spanish mackerel was cooked were particularly shocking! Every dish was filled with surprises and emotions, so much so that I sighed.
In the morning, while looking at the water garden in the distance,
I had a colorful salad of Nasu Kogen vegetables, Nasu Sangen pork bacon, and scrambled eggs made with Nasu Goyo eggs.
I was satisfied from the morning 🥚🥦
The staff were really kind and the sense of distance was comfortable, and it was a wonderful stay that was luxurious yet relaxing ✨
I've never experienced such a place where I could experience both excitement and comfort at the same time, so I'm happy to have found an inn that makes me think, "I definitely want to come back again!"
It's perfect for anniversaries and reward trips, and I would also recommend it when you want to do nothing on your trip ☺️
