Luoyang Guobao Hotel is highly recommended!!!
The scent in the hotel lobby is very pleasant, not too strong, and quite high-end. The front desk staff are also very professional and friendly, providing service with a smile throughout. The hotel also has a mini cinema and a book bar. On the floor I stayed on, there was even a Japanese-style dry landscape garden, which didn't seem out of place! Wow, wabi-sabi is understood by us Luoyang people!
After getting off the elevator, there was a small table with many bottles of hotel water, which I assume are free to take. These small details, Zhengzhou Marriott should learn from. Upon entering the room, it was bright, high-end, and cozy. There were fresh fruits on the table, two bananas, an apple, and a mandarin orange! They could have used regular oranges, but they used mandarin oranges! Wow! There were also two bottles of Yakult, and the drinks and snacks in the room's fridge were free to consume!
To be honest, these small perks don't cost much, but some hotels only offer them to high-level members, while Guobao Hotel offers them to everyone. Additionally, hotel guests can have two pieces of clothing washed for free every day. I was amazed. The washed clothes are folded, placed in a transparent plastic bag, and then put in a hotel tote bag. Wow, that's amazing.
Breakfast is on the sixth floor, with both Chinese and Western options, and is quite abundant. I stayed for two days, and the dishes changed. Of course, there are some shortcomings. The toilet is too small, and you can't close the door when sitting down. Although there are two free laundry quotas, the clothes didn't smell clean after washing. One of my undergarments had a strong oil smell...
Despite the flaws, I will definitely come back to Luoyang Guobao!
