The Basilica of Saint-Reparat was designed and built in 1650 by the architect J.A. Guiberto of Nice for the saint, patron saint of the city. The cathedral belongs to the Roman architectural type in the early Baroque style, and has the influence of the church style of the Latin Cross. Its beautiful dome in the 18th century Genoese style is composed of 14,000 glazed tiles, and the decoration of each chapel and altar is very luxurious.
