The village has many retro buildings and scenes from the movie 'Twenty-Four Eyes', and walking here feels especially nostalgic. The weather is great, the sea view is beautiful, and standing by the sea with the wind blowing is truly enjoyable. It's worth mentioning that I took a speedboat from the pier near Olive Park, which only took ten minutes and cost 500 yen per person. Transportation For transportation on Shodoshima, I chose to rent a Happy Bike with electric assist, which made cycling easier. This made the whole trip more free and convenient. If you don't want to cycle, you can also choose to take the bus, but the bus service is less frequent, so you need to pay a little attention to the schedule.
