Autumn leaves season @ Nishizawa Valley
Nishizawa Valley is located in Chichibu-Tama National Park and is one of the most beautiful scenic spots in Japan. There are well-maintained trekking courses, and many tourists visit to see the rhododendrons in early summer, the fresh greenery, and the autumn leaves. You can enjoy a variety of waterfalls, large and small, including Nanatsukama Godan Falls. The 10-kilometer hiking course takes about four hours to complete, and Nanatsukama Godan Falls is a two-hour walk from the entrance to Nishizawa Valley.
