Located just off a busy street and nestled among the trees, the shrine seems cut off from the outside world. Whenever the breeze blows and the leaves rustle, I can't help but slow down and enjoy this moment of quietness. The air here is fresh, as if it can wash away the dust in your heart, making you feel a rare sense of peace. An ancient torii gate, bathed in the morning sunshine, looks even more sacred and magnificent. Every corner of the shrine seems to be telling stories of the past, with prayers whispered, as if every breeze blowing here can convey their wishes.

Inari Shrine (Nitta Shrine Sub-shrine) 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 Inari Shrine in Yaguchi, Ota Ward. It is a sub-shrine within the grounds of Nitta Shrine. It began in 711 (Wado 4) when a branch spirit was enshrined from Fushimi, the main Inari Shrine in Kyoto, to protect the rice cultivation and agriculture of Yaguchi Village. A fox statue that guards instead of a lion dog. There is not only one large pair of foxes, but many different kinds of foxes can be seen. Foreign tourists were seen peeking into the vermilion-painted Inari Shrine with great interest! The deity worshipped is Nitta Yoshioki, a brave general who is said to have been assassinated at the Yaguchi Ferry. After the assassination, natural disasters occurred frequently. Nitta Myojin Shrine was founded in front of Yoshioki's tomb to appease his spirit, and was later enshrined as Nitta Daimyojin. In the autumn-like grounds, the Chozuya (purification fountain) was decorated in an autumn version. The deity worshipped here is Nitta Yoshioki, a military commander from the Northern and Southern Courts period. In the precincts, there is a huge hamaya (exorcism arrow) sculpture that can't be seen anywhere else! At the time, it was made by Hiraga Gennai under the name "Yamori." The arrows were sold in sets of two, and one would be offered at the shrine and the other taken home as a talisman. This is said to be the birthplace of hamaya. Also, to the right after passing through the torii gate is a large zelkova tree that is 700 years old.
