Niutou Mountain|Steep Incline
Niutou Mountain is located near Huangbei Metro Station, Line 6(Guangzhou), about 10 minutes walk, along which we can get some water and food supply.
It's my second favorite hiking trail in Guangzhou, as there is a steep and long ascend, feeling like dying while hiking, but once arriving the peak, it rewards you an open and overall view of the city. Walk another 400 M, there is a short Great Wall for stunning view of the mountains on the other side and spot for photography😊
After this Great Wall area, there are several trails to choose:
1. Jungle version: more thrilled and fun because of the super steep abscent, need to grab the old tree root to go down. If you're brave and strong enough, you can swing like monkey too😉
2. Short version: relatively short, but with lots up and downs, difficult to catch the breath. However, you're hiking in the shade, which is the best in Summer time while still can enjoy the different beautiful of the mountain.
3. Rock version: quite long and diverse landscape, the most impressive part is the rocks climb, which is about 20 m high. You really need to foresee which rock to step on and judge if it can lead you to the top otherwise, it would be really difficult to climb or you need to go back to try other rocks. After this, with 5 minutes walk, you will see another huge rock on the ridge, from there, we can see the dense jungle and enjoy some breeze of victory and conquest✌✌
