This time, for our 9-day trip to Tokyo, we stayed at this hotel, which opened in 2020, for the first 5 days and 4 nights 【NOHGA HOTEL AKIHABARA TOKYO】 🔸Convenient location, 5-8 minutes from Akihabara Station/Ginza Line 🔸Close to Ueno Station (about 45 minutes from Narita Airport to Ueno Station) 🔸Nearby donki and FamilyMart (within a 3-minute walk) 🔸Rooms are very new and high-quality 🔸Equipped with a speaker similar to Marshall and a smart TV that can mirror 🔸There is a bar on the ground floor, and you get two welcome drinks upon check-in 🔸Even the room slippers are very comfortable, almost as soft as those from Rosewood... Towels are also made in Japan, and the toiletries are local brands 🔸Can open two large suitcases I really love this type of boutique hotel. The decor and amenities are exquisite, and you can feel the care put into the design🤍 If I had to compare, this hotel is somewhat like The Hari or Page Common in Hong Kong. Located inside a stylish hotel in Akihabara, the restaurant has a very modern, cozy vibe with sleek decor and a welcoming atmosphere. For lunch, I opted for the course meal that came with a salad, soup, and pasta. The standout dish was the Crab and Lotus Root Gorgonzola Sauce Pasta. The creamy gorgonzola paired perfectly with the delicate crab and crunchy lotus root, creating a beautiful balance of flavors. Hotel Nohga Chiyoda in the Akihabara area of Tokyo is just an amazing hotel. The hotel gives off such a relaxing, chill vibe. For me, when we first pulled up in front of the hotel, it was quaint and charming. It had tastefully done Christmas decor, and was spotless. The staff were friendly and no problem with communicating. It didn’t matter that it was quite late in the evening when we arrived to check in, the staff was friendly and helpful to us. Our hotel room was just perfect. It had all the amenities that you could think of and everything had its place. It was perfect. I didn’t even miss not having a huge hotel room. I actually preferred this. This was really nice. I have stayed in some beautiful five star hotels and I’m telling you this place rivals five star hotel quality, I can’t say enough how the details of this hotel were amazing. The bath products they supply in the room smell amazing. I even had the pleasure of purchasing some of the products in their small little gift shop which is located in front of the check-in desk on the second floor. The staff, I can’t say enough how amazingly professional they were. They noticed every detail. The breakfast buffet was delicious. It was so tastefully done and very fresh. The choices were not just a regular bulky buffet. These choices were a unique selection of breakfast items and the coffee was delicious. I highly recommend . If you want dinner in the restaurant I would suggest to make reservations prior or at check-in time. I am definitely coming back. I just hope it’s for a longer period of time. #freehotelstay #tokyo

It’s been many years since I went to Akihabara again. Especially after the epidemic, I feel that there are fewer types of stores, so I have to focus more on the ones I like. This time the goal is very clear, which is to go to Sega GIGO and Taito Station to play arcade machines that are not available in Hong Kong, namely Gundam EXVS2, and the Street Fighter 5 type arcade that I want to play the most. In addition, there is Initial D arcade (currently in season 3). Although it can be played in Hong Kong, it feels great to log in and open a new card in GIGO Hall 3. I played for several hours in Taito Station. The plane beds in Japan are always more comfortable, a completely non-smoking environment, and the planes are also very new and clean. I was so satisfied. Passing by the newly opened namco store, there was a public beta of the new version of exvs2. In the evening, we returned to the nohga hotel where we were staying to have dinner.
