NOHGA HOTEL UENO is located a 3-minute walk from Ueno Station. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. When I choose a hotel, the first thing I check is the bathroom, so I was impressed. The art on the walls in lovely colors subtly expresses a Japanese feel, and the attention to detail in the interior and amenities was great. Of course, there was room wear and slippers in the room, but the slippers were fluffy and great, like those in a 5-star hotel! This tastefully designed hotel is strategically located in UENO, about 5 minutes walking distance from UENO JR Station, best for those who travel from Narita International Airport. It took only 40 minutes on Skyliner from Narita Airport directly to Ueno Station. Great for those who travel with kids, you don’t have to walk a lot and kids below 6 years old are free of charge. Furthermore, the hotel is so close to the famous Ameyoko Street, UENO Park, UENO Zoo and many other attractions. The convenient stores 7-11 and Lawson are just down the road. The room is spacious, comfy bed, I particularly like the rain shower and toilet. The staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.
