It is conveniently located near two subway lines and within walking distance of Wangfujing Shopping Street. It is also not far from the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. The hotel rooms are spacious, clean, and fully equipped with amenities, including free Wi-Fi. The staff can communicate well in English and are ready to help. The highlight is the hotel's breakfast, which is a variety of international buffets. Accor members can use the Premier lounge on the 19th floor for breakfast. It is private, not crowded, and the food is delicious. What I like the most is the dumpling soup. It is also open for lunch and Afternoontea. Happy hour is still at the Premier lounge. There is a variety of food and drinks (no cocktails). You can have it as a main meal. As for the room, there are no hair caps, razors, etc. You have to get them from the lobby (the government's waste reduction policy). Overall, Novotel Beijing Peace is a good choice for tourists who want convenient transportation and quality service in Beijing.

First impressions last, but from start to finish my experience at Novotel was marvellous. Maybe it was the way they took my luggage to the room, or how they immediately upgraded my room at no extra cost when I said my room wasn't warm enough, or how they gave me a computer charger when mine got damaged during my stay. Best of all, Novotel is located in an ideal shopping area where many top brand stayed like Gucci and Louis Vuitton are located I could explore the city easily with everythin in walking distance or 30 minutes away by Didi. The ambience was also quite luxurious with affordable room service. Breakfast was lovely. The menu was rich with both Chinese and Western options.
