NUNGNUNG WATERFALL
In a village called Pelaga Village, Petang District, Bandung Regency, there is a natural waterfall tourist attraction that is currently popular. The name of the tourist spot is Nungnung waterfall. Especially on this page, I will write for you a vacation guide to the tourist attractions of the Nugnung waterfall, Pelaga village, Petang District, Badung Regency. Nungnung waterfall is also known as Plaga Waterfall. So if you mention Plaga Waterfall, they mean Nugnung waterfall.
As a popular tourist destination in Indonesia, the island of Bali offers many tourist attractions, holiday activities, accommodation, culinary and transportation facilities. Currently, there is a trend among young tourists for vacations to natural attractions on the island of Bali, especially holidays to visit natural waterfall attractions.
The island of Bali has many choices of waterfall attractions and is spread in almost all areas of the island of Bali. Although there are many waterfall attractions on the island of Bali, not all waterfall attractions in Bali are crowded with tourist visits. Only waterfall tourist attractions are close to the southern Bali area which is bustling with tourist visits, such as the Tegenungan waterfall.
Access to find the base location of the Nugnung waterfall from where you park your vehicle is quite far, with a fairly difficult path to pass. Because every visitor must descend the rules of stairs.
To return to the vehicle parking lot, you have to go back up hundreds of stairs. The difficulty of access to the basic location of the waterfall makes Nugnung waterfall not get many tourist visits. But for those of you who like waterfalls, there are no visitors, the scenery is still natural, then Nugnung waterfall must be included in your holiday itinerary to the island of Bali.

A hidden waterfall in Bali?!
#balitrip
Nungnung Waterfall is a stunning, probably one of the tallest waterfalls with access in Bali. It is nestled in lush rainforest, offering a serene escape from the bustling tourist spots. It is a little less accessible than some of Bali’s more famous waterfalls, so it makes this place all the more special.
It takes about an hour by motorbike from the center of Ubud. The entrance fee is 20,000 IDR per person and 2,000idr for the parking. Officially, they open starting at 9am, but technically you can go earlier and later just pay on the way out.
A short trek through verdant trails leads to a majestic cascade plummeting from a height of 50 meters into a tranquil pool below.
Once you get there, the waterfall is quite a stunning site. There is a small bamboo bridge to walk across to the other side where you can stand on some rocks for a nice photo with the waterfall in the background. The splash is quite powerful so while you can go in the water, I didn’t see anyone actually go under the fall. Also the water is quite cold so if you have plans to get wet, a towel would be a good idea.
Allow yourself plenty of time because there are many steps and while the trek down towards the waterfall isn’t so difficult, the hike up is a bit more strenuous. Especially if it’s a rainy day, the steps might even be slippery, so always be cautious.

A trip to the waterfall of Nungnung
Driving along the backroads from Ubud, you get a true sense of Bali. After taking in the sights from the comfort of your motorcycle, you arrive at the Nungnung waterfall. Upon paying admission, you descend 500 steps to the waterfall. You turn a corner, only to be taken aback by the enormity of the situation. The power of the water, combined with the steep vegetated sides of the surrounding cliffs, make for an unforgettable experience. You can even treat yourself to a swim to rid yourself of all negativity. It is difficult to depart from such beauty, whether because of its grandeur or the 500 steps back to the top, whichever you chose!
