Round-trip boat fare is 600,000 - 800,000 IDR (about 1,500-2,000 baht) 2. We got so lucky that we saw all the rare sea animals like manta, sea turtles and nemo. We got a very welcoming and super gurading captain who is watching all the time for our safety in the ocean. Visiting this island via boat from Sanur Harbour. What a great view and great beaches. Basically you can just took the motorcycle or car and go around the island, stop any beach you found and swim anywhere you want.

My birthday’s trip to Bali, Indonesia culminates in a visit to Nusa Penida, a beautiful island located just 30 minutes away by speedboat from the city center. Do take a day (or two!) to visit Nusa Penida. It is so worth it, especially the snorkelling / scuba diving there. 🐬 2. Get your scuba license there, it’s so much cheaper and with so much options too! 🐬 3. Go rogue; try their street food and not just the restaurants your hired driver (Supir) takes you to. 🐬 4. The Cultural Park where enormous Wishnu Kencana statue is will take an entire half day, not just 2 hours like your tour guide planned for you. 🐬 5. The street coffee is as good as the expensive cafes. Try them! 🐬 6. Bring appropriate modest wear for temple visits. 🐬 7. Do try white-water rafting, it’s so exhilirating! 🐬 8. Don’t forget to prepare with sea-sickness meds, because one of us was seasick the entire boatride to the islands 🫢

Bali is really awesome. I went there in July and it is the best to visit this island between July and October. The weather was really good, warm and dry. I spent 10 days in Bali and I guess it was not enough. I suggest you visit at least 15 days. My itinerary: Ubud - 4 days Seminyak - 5 days Nusa Penida - 1 day. Ubud is a must visit part of Bali. Here you can visit a lot of cultural and historical buildings, markets, different restaurants. You can feel real Balinese culture in Ubud. There are a lot of small and convenient hotels around Ubud which starts from 15$. While visiting Ubud, I strongly suggest you to visit Rice fields, Gate of heaven, waterfalls and chocolate factory beach which can be a bit far but comfortable to go from Ubud. Seminyak is more vibrant and energetic than Ubud. There are a lot beach clubs, nightclubs and different restaurants. We visited Potatohead beach club which was amazing. Even though it was pricey it was worthwhile. Nusa Penida was my biggest regret. Why I spent only 1 day there? It was my last day in Bali but time was so little I could not enjoy Nusa Penida enough. I regret I haven’t planned much time for Nusa Penida. i suggest to soend at least 3 days there.
