Nyoirinji is famous for its frog shrine, because there are so many frog statues, paintings, artworks, and props in the shrine. I didn't know it would be this big, but it was much bigger than I thought! It probably took more than an hour just to look around. There are so many frog artworks that it could be a museum, and they are also selling a lot! It was so much fun to look around that I couldn't capture them in pictures. The scenery is also carved with frogs, and there are many frog statues hidden here and there. I guess it's not well-known to Koreans yet, so there were quite a few local tourists, but we were the only foreigners. By the way, the frog shrine is a rumor, and it's said to be the personal taste of the person running the shrine! Just a 12-minute walk from Nishitetsu Misasagi Station, you'll find a greenhouse strawberry farm (Shiraki no Ichigo Shiawasemon). The area isn't very large, but for 2500 yen, you can pick and eat as many strawberries as you want for 50 minutes. You can also take home 100g for 350 yen. The strawberries are big and red, and although they aren't very sweet, they have a wonderful strawberry aroma. Additionally, just a 3-minute walk from the strawberry farm, you can reach Nyoirinji Temple (Frog Temple). The temple has many cute frog statues and is open for visitors! Misasagi Station offers both a visit to Frog Temple and strawberry picking, making it highly recommended!

Dazaifu is a popular spot in Fukuoka, and I originally planned to spend a day visiting Dazaifu, Tenmangu Shrine, and Kamado Shrine. I thought it might be a bit rushed, but because there were too many people and there weren't any particularly special sights to keep you there, I finished in three to four hours. So I searched online for nearby places to visit and found Ruyi Wheel Temple. It takes less than half an hour to get there from Dazaifu by taking the Nishitetsu train to Misawa Station, and then it's about a 15-minute walk following Google Maps after you exit the station. From the entrance, you can already see the autumn leaves in full bloom along the way, and then you see many different frog decorations of various shapes, materials, and sizes, which make you want to explore every corner and take your time to admire them. Even the ema (wooden plaques) and omamori (amulets) are frog-shaped, which is very cute. More importantly, there aren't many people; on the day I visited, there were only about a dozen tourists, so you can leisurely stroll around.
