East OCT is located in Dameisha, Yantian District, Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. It covers an area of nearly 9 square kilometers. Construction began in 1993 with an investment of RMB 3.5 billion from OCT Group. The first phase of the project was grandly opened on July 28, 2007. It is a national ecological tourism demonstration zone with a unique natural environment, where mountains and seas meet, and the scenery is pleasant. It is a comprehensive tourism resort integrating leisure, entertainment, culture, and tourism.

East OCT is one of the famous scenic spots in Shenzhen and a top choice for spring and autumn outings for primary and middle school students in Shenzhen.
✅2. Address and Transportation
1. Address: East OCT, Dameisha, Meisha Street, Yantian District, Shenzhen.
2. Subway: Take Metro Line 2 (Line 8) to Dameisha Station Exit D, and walk about 600 meters to "Haibin Bathing Beach 1" after exiting.
3. Bus: Take B691/M191/M520 to "East OCT West Gate" bus stop, or M380 to Yantian Hospital Meisha Branch bus stop and walk to the destination.
4. Self-driving and taxi: Navigate directly to "East OCT West Gate". There is a large parking lot inside the scenic area.
⚠️Reminder: During all weekends and statutory holidays from May 1st to October 1st, temporary traffic control and appointment measures will be implemented in Dapeng Peninsula and Meisha area.

2. Features: The full journey is 5200 meters, with a ride time of about 50 minutes, with a 10-minute stop in the middle. You can ride multiple times as long as you do not leave the station.
3. Best photo location: Left side of the rear car, with a wide view and excellent scenery.
4. Opening hours: 10:00 - 17:00, with a departure interval of 15-20 minutes.

1. Lunch recommendation: There are KFC restaurants, noodles, teppanyaki, and simple meals in the scenic area, with prices around RMB 30. Drinks are around RMB 20, and bottled water is around RMB 8. However, there is a large flow of people on holidays, so it is recommended to bring your own food and water.
2. Weather selection: Sunny days are the best, as you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way, such as the Interlaken River, European castles, and Sanzhoutian Reservoir, as if entering a fairy tale world.
3. Itinerary planning: The last trip of the Cloud Sea Cable Car is at 17:30. It is recommended to visit the glass栈道 first after going up the mountain, and then take the cable car line 2 down to the "Forest Train" station.
