(You are given about 2 hours to look around Oedo!) Since it was my first time to Oedo, my parents and I thought we would be pressed for time, so we went around in a hurry, but we had more than 30 minutes left, which was a shame😂 If you are going here, it seems like you can go around the whole thing in 30 minutes if you go quickly, so please take your time and tour❣️ • • • ▪️Oedo Botania 🎈Oedo Marine Farm, 17 Oedo-gil, Irun-myeon, Geoje-si, Gyeongnam 💸Oedo entrance fee 11,000 won, Wahyun Cruise 14,000 won (based on adults!) ✨There are also vending machines, cafes, and souvenir shops on the island♥ #Oedo Botania

It is hard to believe that this well-kept garden is the work of just two people: fisherman Lee Chang-ho and his wife Choi Ho-suk. In 1969, after Lee's miraculous rescue during a storm on the island, the couple bought it and decided to improve it. Whimsically trimmed trees and a palisade of palm trees, cute secluded benches and terraces with postcard views, rows of shady alleys and blooming meadows - you could wander here for hours, enjoying the beauty. But the thing is that visitors to the island are limited in time. An hour and a half is given for an independent excursion, then you must leave the island on the boat that brought you here. And this is perhaps the only downside to a trip to the island, which, however, disciplines and forces such leisurely tourists as us to "mobilize". Boats to the garden island depart from several piers on Geoje Island. One of them - Jangseungpo port - is located next to the Hotel Ocean Best, which is an excellent landmark in finding the pier. Also not far from it is the bus station of the same name, where buses from Busan arrive (Seobu Intercity bus terminal). So a cruise to the island can diversify the program of visiting this city. By the way, a bonus of such a trip will be the opportunity not only to get acquainted with the island of Kozhdae, ride on cable-stayed bridges and a tunnel that connects it with the mainland, but also to see the Haegeumgang rocks, which are second in the register of natural attractions of Korea. #SeptemberTravelSupportEvent I was surprised because it was bigger than I thought. I had to keep climbing the hill as soon as I got off the pier. (Comfortable shoes are a must!!) It was so well-managed, and the miniature garden reminded me of the gardens of the Palace of Versailles, a pretty statue, a prayer room good for praying quietly, and exotic trees~ It was beautiful everywhere and every place was a photo zone. The coffee at the cafe at the top wasn't that good, but the staff was friendly and the view was good, so it was nice to sit and rest!! #Geoje

#koreatrip Definitely worth the visit. It had an European vibe, and so many different species of plants (including rare ones). It's great to enjoy around and all pictures come out beautiful. It is also considered as One of the most beautiful places in Korea. The boat ride there alone would have been worth it, but the island is truly magical. There is also a cafe more towars the top of the island, and the view there is stunning. I hope to go back some time soon.

You can get to Odeo, the outer island, by boat from Juji Island Dojo Pu Harbor. The boat ride is about 30-50 minutes. We left Jangseungpo for about 30 minutes, watched Haegeumgang first, then went for another 20 minutes to arrive at Oedo - we were able to watch for about 2 hours Attraction: The garden was the prettiest! Oedo is pretty everywhere, but the garden and Greek-style buildings are really pretty and go well with the surrounding scenery, so the photos turned out well as if we were in some foreign countryㅎㅎ

#timetotravel From Geoje Island, you can also opt to travel to another island called Oedo, which means Outer Island, by taking a ferry from the town of Jangseungpo. This is a private island owned by a family, and is having a climate of summer all year round. There, you will feel the sensation of equatorial climate where equatorial faunas lived growing well there. The owner converted the entire island to a garden inspired by the Medici family of Florence, which much structure and replica resembles the Boboli Gardens in Florence. It is a nice getaway from Geoje during the weekend.
