The Ogasawara Maru has a variety of rooms, from economy-style Japanese-style rooms (where everyone sleeps together) to private rooms. I took a cheap, capsule-type, second-class berth. Privacy is guaranteed, so it's comfortable! The ferry is also well-equipped with shower rooms, restaurants, shops, and cafes. I tried the apple pie served at the cafe, which is a local specialty, and it was delicious♡ I'm worried about seasickness...it's a good idea to bring some medicine as it rocks quite a bit once you're out in the open sea. Once you pass the Chiba coast, you won't have any signal, so it's a forced digital detox! lol Honestly, it's a long journey, but because it's such a long voyage, the excitement when you see Chichijima is just...
