It houses many of the artifacts, works and caligraphies of this famous Confucian scholar. The compound consists of the following building: Mongnyongsil, which is the Ojukheon house itself, Munseongsa where the portrait of Yi I was hung, Eojgak and the Yulgok memorial hall. The meaning of Ojukheon implies the compound is full of the black bamboo, and this is a very important place of culture in Korea.
