When i set out to explore Fethiye, Oludeniz was the main reason. I had long read about its blue lagoon and the turquoise quality of its water. It had me so excited. And well rightly so. Although one of the challenges was the costs associated with Oludeniz. We found a decent accommodation and Oludeniz was a taxi ride away. During the stay we managed to visit it twice.
It's a soft pebble beach where the water meets and looks absolutely stunning, just as we expected. However on both the occasions, it was fairly crowded. Though, that didn't deter us and we swam, strolling across the beach line. The prices did play a spoil sport to some extent. I mean 800 Turkish lira for the sun beds and then overpriced beverages and service charges. Especially with the crowds and all that, it didn't feel like it would be worth paying the premium. Anywho, Oludeniz still was with the trouble and anyone headed this way. I recommend exploring the rest of the Fethiye region too. It is gorgeous.

Located in
Located in the south of Turkey, Fethiye is a historic city with beautiful natural scenery and a suitable climate to attract tourists from all over the world. Fethiye is best known for gliding and the Dead Sea. Oludeniz Beach is the most beautiful and famous beach on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. The whole coast is surrounded by mountains to form a calm and undulating lagoon. Because of the calmness of the bay, the reflection in the water is almost static, hence the name "Dead beach." This water from the Mediterranean is full of Greek mythologically fascinating colors, blue suffocating, extending to the sky, blooming on the horizon. You can swim here, but there are many pebbles on the beach. It is recommended to wear beach shoes. You can take a paraglider here, you can feel the nature more naturally in the gliding, fly into the air to experience peace and quiet, and the feeling of integration with the blue sky and blue sea and white sand. The restaurants, gift shops and hotels near the beach are well-equipped, and with the recent depreciation of the Turkish lira, it is better to travel to Fethiye now.
