The tranquility of hot springs and the healing of the soul
#TokyoItinerary
Day 1: Warm springs and snowy scenery
Today's itinerary is to Kusatsu Onsen, a surrounding area of Tokyo. This small town surrounded by mountains has rich hot spring resources, and each hot spring makes people feel the healing power of nature. Walking into the street, warm steam rises from the ground, as if you are in fairyland. In winter, the entire town of Kusatsu is covered with snow, and the hot steam from the hot springs and the ice and snow interweave into a gorgeous picture. In this pure snow scene, whether you are leisurely soaking in the hot springs or walking on the steaming hot spring street, your body and mind can be completely relaxed. The spring water of Kusatsu is famous for its clarity and soothing effect. Every moment of bathing in the hot spring, you can feel the warmth and joy welling up from the bottom of your heart. The smoke from the soup rose up, as if taking away all the pressure.
Day 2: Dialogue with Nature
In the early morning, the hot spring town of Kusatsu is still immersed in a warm atmosphere. Walking gently, you can hear the sound of flowing water. This sound seems to carry an ancient rhythm, which makes people slow down their pace unconsciously. Today, I came to the famous local hot spring baths and immersed myself in the spring water every minute, as if returning to my purest self. The cold and snow outside were isolated outside the glass window, and only the warm spring water gently caressed my skin. The hot springs in Kusatsu are not only a healing place for the body, but also a cleansing place for the soul. Every time after taking a bath, I feel extremely light, as if all my worries have dissipated along with the steam, leaving only full relaxation and happiness.
