Price per Person - $20 Rating - 4/5 This Japanese ramen shop that I patronized regularly, always has a consistent queue outside its shop as customers wait patiently to be seated. You must be wondering what is the buzz with this ramen shop and where is it located? Well, this ramen place is located outside on the first floor of orchid hotel at 1 tras link. The restaurant's name is called Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu king. Their specialties would be their tonkatsu ramen, where the soup broth is so rich and flavourful, and packed with slices of Char siew. You can customize your bowl of ramen in terms of how hard you want your noodles to be, and how salty your soup to be, and weather you want toppings like flavoured egg, seaweed, spring onions or black fungus. I love this concept as I get to choose what I want for my ramen. Kids also get to eat free with every bowl of ramen ordered. Just amazing for families with kids. I always get their regular tonkotsu ramen with all topping and their black spicy tonkotsu ramen, and the ramens are always delicious with generous portions. Beside that, there's free flow complimentary boiled eggs and seasoned beansprouts that you can help yourself to. You can eat these items as much as you want. Lastly, dining at Keisuke ramen shop transports you back to old time Japan with their retro looking shop interior designs. You can see lots of retro looking posters and decor in the shop. The shop may be a little small, but it reminds me of those small dining shops in Japan. Go early to avoid queues and so as to get a table too. Would highly recommend this ramen place!

Located in Orchid Hotel at Tanjong Pagar, Ramen Keisuke Tonkotsu King is a small shop selling ramen. An ordering form will be given to indicate our orders and customise according to our own preferences. Three types of ramen are offered; normal, black spicy and red spicy. For the toppings, you can choose to have flavoured egg, seaweed, all toppings or even none at all. If you choose to have toppings, prices will also vary. As for the broth and noodles, you may also customise the texture of the noodles, broth thickness and the amount of oil that goes in. It was nice to be able to customise the ramen according to own preferences without incurring additional charges. This shop also provides free flow of boiled eggs and marinated bean sprouts, and they are generous with these items too as evident from the many eggs in the bowl and the containers filled almost to the brim with bean sprouts. Even though I ordered the normal Tonkotsu ramen without any toppings, it was very filling for me with the big tender pork slice, noodles and broth. #meetsingapore #tripblazers

#2024wish My 2024 travel wish is to visit Macau. I would like to try out their Portuguese egg tarts there. I would like to visit their attarctions and places of interest there too. I hope to buy back those yummy snacks and share them with my friends and family members. The four stars orchid hotel is one that is located at the Tanjong Pagar district. It has undergone recent renovations to make the rooms more modern. There is no bathtub in all rooms. The room comes with a queen sized bed or two single bed. The location is great as it is just a short five minutes from the train station. The staff are very friendly and the room is very spacious too.

The oasia downtown hotel, the orchid hotel, the Amara hotel. In terms of location, if you opt for the Amara hotel, you are just beside the 100 AM mall, and opposite the tanjong pagar Plaza. The orchid hotel is just a few minutes walk towards the tanjong pagar food centre. The oasia downtown hotel is just In front of the icon village where you can find a supermarket. All three hotels have good reviews. I would opt for the Amara Singapore as their rooms are more spacious and they have a bathtub inside the shower room which is one of my favorites.

Hotels in Singapore are really expensive, and after doing a round of homework, I eventually booked the Orchid Hotel. It is located in the Tanjong Pagar area near the city center, not far from Chinatown by car, within walking distance! After checking in, I found that this hotel is really great value for money! Five nights including tax $5700, an average of about $1100 per night, which is really much cheaper than the usual two or three thousand dollars a night in hotels in Singapore! Of course, the overall amenities may not be comparable to those hotels, but this one is really good value for money. The hotel room is thirty square meters, and it is very new, the lobby and rooms are very modern, the staff are very nice, it feels really good! And this hotel is super conveniently located, 200 meters out of the door has a subway station. The hotel is only two or three kilometers from Fishtail Lion Bay, a 10-minute drive away. There are also many breakfast snack shops, fruit shops, fairprice supermarkets across the road from the hotel, and Yakun Breakfast Shop is also located in the 100AM mall 300 meters away.
