Recommended Spacious and Comfortable Hotel in Guangzhou
This hotel is even larger than an average Hong Kong household. It has two bathrooms, one of which includes a bathtub and a shower, connected to the bedroom. The bedroom itself is spacious with a sofa and a wardrobe. Outside, there is a living room that is quite large, furnished with a coffee table and an L-shaped sofa. Both the bedroom and the living room have TVs. When we booked, it was around 800 RMB per night, including breakfast and afternoon tea. Although the afternoon tea was canceled, they compensated us with a box of mooncakes, which I found delightful. The mooncakes were in a cute cowboy design with different flavors, and the gift box was beautiful, making it a great gift option.
The entire suite was very clean and new, and the bed was quite comfortable. We stayed on a middle floor with an ocean view, although there wasn't much to see besides the road and buildings. The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the metro station and very close to Guangzhou East Station, just one stop away.
Although there is no pool or gym, which isn't important to me, the breakfast is a buffet style, mainly Chinese cuisine. It includes congee, noodles, dim sum, regular dishes, bread, and desserts. It's not particularly delicious, but it's filling.
