The royal palace that sits above the Spanish city of Santander is a fascinating place to spend an afternoon. The palace itself- built a little over a 100 years ago as the King’s summer retreat holds a wonderful spot looking north out towards the Atlantic Ocean. Rumour says that Queen Victoria (the Granddaughter of the famous one) would often open one of the palace’s 365 windows to gaze back home. Vital Alsar- further across the peninsula you can find 3 boats sitting on the side of the hill. In the 1970s this explorer, inspired by stories of Polynesian explorer successful travelled the Pacific Ocean alongside his cat in a raft he built himself. The mini zoo- Across from Alsar’s rafts you can also find a mini zoo featuring Seals, Sealions and Penguins

Recommended spots for a trip to Santander, Cantabria, Spain are: ・Palacio de la Magdalena (Palace) It's a 10-minute bus ride from the city center, so it's very easy to get to. The gardens are full of nature, and you can see the sea and the mountains. The grounds are huge, so it's perfect for a walk after dinner! lol The palace is much larger than you can imagine, and it's beautiful and very moving. There are some things that can't be conveyed in a photo, so I recommend you see it with your own eyes.
