It is a popular island resort with a huge crowd of people because of visa-free access and direct flights, and the relatively affordable prices in Vietnam. It is not inferior to Phuket, Koh Samui and Bali, and is very suitable for a mindless and relaxing vacation. This time we stayed at Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay. The quality of Crowne Plaza is quite good, especially at the seaside, it has a resort feel. You can overlook the Bai Dai Bay from the hotel room, which is a plus. The hotel has complete facilities, including an outdoor swimming pool, spa, gym and beachfront restaurant. You can also enjoy fire dance performances and sunset views, which is quite chill. Otherwise, it is very convenient to go out to Fortune World for food, drinks and entertainment as there is a free shuttle. The standard sea view room is 40 square meters in size, and the best thing is that it has a balcony facing the sea where you can enjoy the sunshine and sea breeze outdoors. The price for two people including breakfast is about NT$5,500, which is moderately acceptable for a five-star resort hotel. I felt like I am roaming somewhere in Europe and all the major attractions from there were here. The colorful houses, fountains and serene atmosphere really made it a great trip for Valentine’s Day. There is so much to do here such as the Kiss Bridge, world’s longest cable car and multimedia shows such as KISS of the Sea. You can easily spend a day here and click plenty of pictures or explore different avenues such as Positano street or the night market. This is a must visit attraction in Phu Quoc.

We visited in February, and while the scenery was absolutely stunning, the swimming conditions were disappointing due to seasonal factors. 💞Reasons to Recommend: The beach itself is picture-perfect, with mesmerizing turquoise water, fine white sand, and swaying palm trees that provide natural shade. It’s a great place to relax, take a walk, or enjoy the peaceful surroundings. There are many restaurants nearby, making it easy to grab a meal while enjoying the view. Unfortunately, February is the season of waves on this part of the island. The waves themselves were not too big, but they brought in a lot of debris, including seaweed and plastic, making swimming impossible during our visit.
