Being over three decades old, this marvelous national cultural treasure truly stands the test of time.What makes Paoay Church outstanding from other well-known churches around the country is its impressive pyramid-like structure considered as a primary example of the earthquake baroque style of architecture characterized by its thick walls made from coral stones and bricks.

In addition to its baroque architecture, Paoay Church is renowned for its historical significance and significance. The enormous buttresses of the historic church are a prominent feature of the building's distinctive architecture. Two major earthquakes damaged parts of the church. a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Ancestral Diner is one of my favorite places near San Augustine Church, which is surrounded by a plethora of other eateries. Puto bongbong and jambalaya rice are two of my favorite dishes. This is a fantastic spot to spend time!!! When in Ilocos Norte, this is a must-see location for photographers. There are a number of excellent restaurants just a short walk from the church.
