#celebrateit This is a popular cafe among the hipsters. It highlights some sorta open-minded spirit in its ideology. Food-wise, it focuses on fusion cuisine, which includes local Malaysian elements, Japanese and our neighbours like Thailand and Indonesians. If you like surprises, I think this is an awesome place. But if you prioritise taste more than creativity in your food, then I have mixed feelings over this place because half of the time the cross marriage of flavours didn’t turn out too good. For once I thought it’s just me, but through the years, I think I’ve met half dozen of my friends who share the same views. But when it worked, it’s a big thumb up. 📍Papasan

#winhkflight 📍Papasan Canteen, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur This place has always been my go to spot in Kuala Lumpur whenever I was craving for omu rice! Located in Cheras, this café is a Japanese fusion café serving a wide array of food like sushi, omu rice, rice bowls, tomato noodles and more! The café is minimalist, it’s giving clean and fresh vibes! Their omu rice is top tier, the fried chicken was so well done that it is well marinated with crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Great pairing with the fluffy omelette and curry, such a great balance that the curry did not overpower the taste of both fried chicken and omelette! Portion was huge that we had to share it, also you get to pick if you wanna get 3 piece or 5 piece chicken. Some of the other food that I tried including unagi Inari sushi, tomato soup noodles were also great! Would love to revisit! I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!

My favourite place for Japanese fusion food. The taste is delicious and price is very affordable!!! Strongly recommended Must order: Omu curry rice (with 5 big pieces of fried chicken) They added partition board on the table for social distancing/safety purpose. Staff are friendly despite the busy crowd. It can get quite noisy if you’re seated next to chatty groups. Parking is almost impossible, even at night when most shops seem closed. #malaysia
