[2025 George Town ] Travel Guide for Penang Municipal Park (Updated Mar)

#penang This is definitely my favourite city in Malaysia and I am proud to say it's the same for all tourists. Not only it is beautiful, it is a heaven for food lovers. Plus, it is indeniably a cultural and art heritage with abundance of nice architectures from the olden days to murals and drawings of street art around the city. These arts mostly are within walking distance and Penang Municipal with Tourism Council has made maps and directions for street art hunters to take pictures and witness the street art. These are some of my favourites. Enjoy!

How to get there - Travel from Don Mueang to Penang Airport, take a bus from Penang Airport to Komta (401E) for about 3 ringgit. We have to exchange money on the bus. There is no change on the bus. Tourist attractions - When we arrived at Komta, we did not stay in Penang, so we booked a bus ticket from Penang to Kuala Lumpur. After booking the ticket, we left our luggage and headed to Penang first. From Komta to Georgetown, we could walk there. At around 4 pm, we took a bus to Kuala Lumpur. Hotel - We booked a hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Restaurants and food - There are many restaurants along the way from Komta to Georgetown. Choose the one that suits you. Shopping - There are souvenirs along the way. #This is just the first day.#

#springwander Penang Municipal Park is a hidden gem! This park is like a jungle oasis in the middle of the city. In the spring, the flowers and trees are in full bloom, making it a beautiful spot for a hike. There are trails of all levels, from easy strolls to more challenging climbs. I loved hiking through the park and taking in the stunning views. The spring air was fresh and clean, and the sounds of birds chirping added to the peaceful atmosphere. It's amazing to find such a serene spot in the midst of a bustling city. Whether you're a nature lover or just looking for a relaxing walk, Penang Municipal Park is a must-visit in the spring.
