It’s located at Peninsula Plaza which is very convenient at the centre of island. What strikes me is the restaurant’s design. Indeed there’s this Burmese culture flavour in the decor with many artefacts with a very cozy but modern ambience. Localise in a way. The dishes really reflect their family restaurant concept and I enjoyed the food. Never expect it to taste that good too. The only place in Singapore that sells so many products from Myanmar, it even has this unique smell from inside building. People from Myanmar usually gather here every weekend. It bring back memories of my Myanmar trip when I pass by this place. Beside all those stores, there are also offices in this Peninsula Plaza building, located very conviniently opposite City Hall MRT. Maybe if your sense of smell is very sharp, you won't like the smell. While it’s not the best to visit Pennisula Plaza on weekends due to the heap of burmese people here, J recommend visiting here if you’re a fan of trying out different cuisines from different countries. On the basement level, they have a lot of food options. I recommend trying Shan Food especially since it’s my favorite! The first floor has a variety of shops, including watch stores, camera stores, clothing shops, etc. On the second and third floors, you will find a lot of mini marts. Do try out some of the locally made snacks! I recommend eggy, which is like Myanmar’s Irvins. They have salted egg chips for a cheaper price!

#thingstodo The peninsula Plaza is located five minutes walk from the city hall train station. It is a slightly older mall with decades of history. It is located near the peninsula Excelsior four stars hotel. The hotel provides spacious rooms starting from 26m2. They also have bigger suites. There are various categories of shops at the peninsula Plaza . There are money changers , apparel shops, value dollar shops, as well as other shops. It is located beside the Capitol theatre shopping mall. If you are around the city hall area, you can visit the mall.

Myanmar has given a wonderful food experience, this tour has highlighted the best of their culture and history. Some dishes I can compare to my country's, which is the Philippines, but Myanmar's still has a twist of its originality and that flavour that will never forget.
