It was a trip to Davao, Philippines. Davao, nestled in the southern Philippines, is a paradise for travelers and photographers alike. During our trip, we visited People’s Park in the morning ☀️ where the beautifully landscaped gardens, sculptures, and vibrant playgrounds create a burst of color. The soft morning light made it perfect for capturing the intricate details of the park’s giant durian dome and art installations. For a more urban vibe, we explored Roxas Night Market in the evening, snapping street food shots and lively scenes under neon lights. By mid-afternoon, we visited Philippine Eagle 🦅 Center, where the iconic national bird posed beautifully amidst its natural habitat. A short boat 🚤 ride brought us to Pearl Farm Beach Resort, a serene location perfect for capturing luxurious seaside views 🙌 For adventurous photos, we snorkeled 🤿 and kayaked in the afternoon, making the most of the golden hour by the beach. Another must-visit in your Davao tour is the infamous Davao People’s Park which is located at the verys heart of Davao City. The location is great as it just a few minutes walk away from another well-known tourist attraction in Davao which is the Roxas night market. It is so near the trademark hotels in Davao like the Royal Mandaya hotel, Apo View hotel and Marco Polo hotel (which is closed during our time of visit) There are a lot of things you can do in the park. Capture amazing photos with their giant eagle statue which the region is well-known for. Their entrance arc is great to take pictures also especially during the night where it is lighted with different colors. The park has a playground as well where kids can have fun. They have a stunning fountain as well, and other statues where you can take great pictures. The park has also a lot of benches and tables as well were you can have a picnic - most people choose the ground/grass near the ponds to enjoy the relaxing view. All of this you get to Enjoy for FREE as there is no entrance fee in the park. It is also a very secured place which what Davao is very well known for as well.

Davao supplies almost all of the durians in the Philippines, and has a wide variety of durians, with 26 different types. Every summer in July and August, when the durians are ripe, the whole fruit market is filled with the aroma of durians. Davao produces more than 50,000 tons of durians annually, with more than 3,000 growers. Davao's fruit market is located on Magsaysay Avenue outside Chinatown. Here, you can not only taste a variety of fresh durians, but also a variety of tropical fruits such as mangosteen, sweet pomelo, sugar apple, mango, and coconut. The fruit market on Magsaysay Avenue is one of the most famous markets in Davao and a great place to taste and buy local fruits. DAVAO, located in the south of the tropical Philippines, is a perfect city for a leisurely second life. Some hotels have pools where you can relax. High-end restaurants are fine, but the best places to eat are the locals'. There is a night market at night, where you can buy T-shirts for 100 yen. There are plenty of local foods, and the LOHAS Market is definitely worth a visit! Traffic jams can be a concern, but they're much easier than the capital, Manila. There's no problem with the language, and English is spoken.
