Christmas, half buffet
After visiting the Christmas South Trunk Market, don’t walk too far and have dinner at Pierside.
The restaurant is doing a semi-buffet, $338/person (plus one), with a 10% discount for booking a table a day in advance, and eating in a hotel seems to be getting more and more cost-effective nowadays.
I'm hungry. I'll go out and see what's available. At seven o'clock, the semi-buffet has started for a while, but the salad Cold Cut and others are placed beautifully, will not be messed up, personally think the salmon and duck breast are done well, especially the latter, tender meat plus pineapple pieces, delicious.
Watermelon cheese salad is my favorite, served in pockets, as a starter warm-up is the best.
Even also found pizza, and is going to change the style, vegetarian cheese pizza, and Hawaiian style, crispy edges, taste good, and I am not Italian, did not insist on whether there is pineapple existence.
I served a small bowl of soup. There was only western soup that day. It was tomato cream. It was very refreshing.
For the main course, even pork chops or lamb chops don't cost extra, which is quite fair. I chose the Bao Yun pastry baked lamb rack, the outer layer is slightly crispy, the meat is tender and retains a little fat, bringing out the proper greasy aroma, pick up the bones with your hands to bite, happy!
I also tried a friend's pork chop, not super thick, taste tender and juicy, near the fat position is naturally more attractive. I personally would appreciate my portion of lamb chop more, while my friend voted for the pork chop, salted fish and greens each had their own preferences, after all, both staples were done well.
At dessert time, ladies scramble to have sweet soup with white fungus and peach jelly to nourish and nourish their skin.
I prefer Western pastries, such as chocolate cake, coconut cake and pumpkin tart, and the Christmas must-eat bread pudding, although the style is not super rich, enough to fill my sweet stomach.
Coffee or tea, whatever you want.
